Perfection
Had a great time here the other night. Food was perfect. Great bang for your buck. Best risotto we ever had!

go for a drink, but not much more
We went there on a Sunday around noon for brunch/lunch. Decor and general ambience was pleasant, but the service and the quality of the food left a little to be desired. (1) the service - not unfriendly, but not very attentive. for example, i asked the server if they're open for dinner as well as brunch and lunch, and she said yes and walked away. I was sort of hoping she'd offer to let us see a dinner menu as an invitation to return sometime for dinner. it was busy, but she definitely wasn't scrambling from table to table, so it's not like she didn't have time to take a minute to tell us a little about the restaurant. aside from that, no one ever came to offer us coffee refills or ask how things were (after we got the food). (2) food quality - i tried the baked eggs, which sounded like an interesting way to prepare eggs. overall, the dish was unique, but the eggs were dry and rubbery; way too overcooked. i politely asked our server if this is how the chef intended to have the eggs served, and she told me that eggs are tough to get right. she went on to explain that this dish is particularly tough to prepare perfectly. overall, a little too pricey for what you get. it looked like a nice place to come for a glass of wine or cocktail, but that's about it for us.

Yummers!
We walked past this nondescript place many times, but didn't know anything about it until we read the reviews online. What a find! The pork loin with tonnato sauce was brilliant in its simplicity. The pasta special of the day hit the spot. And the mascarpone cheesecake with apricots soaked in rum will be forever in our dreams.

Where are we ?
Living in Manhattan I would have never known about this place if friends from BK hadn't taken us there. I eat out in the city all the time and I can honestly say that I had one of the best meals in a long time. The food was excellent and service was prompt & warm. Cute corner and great deal for the quality of the food. Worth the trip out of the city.

My favorite place in the hood
After searching the hood for my favorite place, Bocca Lupa won by a landslide. You can go early with kids or later for a totally different (and adult) scene. Everything I've eaten is better than I expect it to be, the wait staff are quick, friendly and most importantly they know what they're talking about from the wines to the menu.

Great Spot
We love this place and we go as often as we can. They have a great menu and specials that are always interesting and delicious. I think the food is great, because it is often quite simple with just a few flavors in each dish, but they always have new and intersting combinations of flavors with high-quality ingredients. Brunch is good too. Can be a bit crowded at times, but not as crowded as it will be once word really gets out.

pizza pizza pizza
I ate here the other night after hearing alot about this place from friends in the nieghborhood. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. What a cute corner and wonderful food. Service was good and the prices are cheap. Try the pizza on the special menu it was one of the best i've ever had. The bruschetta option is quite fun also. Desserts were simple yet tasty. The place is a bit loud though and crowds up fast.
