    great wine selection

I love the new look of Bocado. They updated their menu and wine list. We went there for dinner and we were very pleased with the service and the food. We had the pasta Bolognese and the Bocado burger. Keep up the good work.

Best New American on the UES!

Bocado is my favorite restaurant on the Upper East Side both for takeout and dining in. The variety is great and the food is always fresh. I love the soups and salads. The chicken noodle soup definitely got me through the cold this winter. The arugula salad with caramelized dates and walnuts is amazing. My husband thinks the Bocado burger is the best in town. There are so many delicious appetizers like the calamari and Brussels sprouts plus all the pizzas! I can eat from here several times a week without getting bored. The seafood entrees such as the salmon and sea bass rival those at top seafood restaurants in the area as well. The desserts are also irresistible. I'm so glad bocado opened it's doors on the Upper East Side!!!

    don't

Whatever u do don't order the so called "pizza". Dead Italians are turning over in their graves. I'm a live one. Dough tasted like store-bought flat bread over-grilled. Sauce tasted like raw tomato paste. Mozz not much better. Thank god for the basil. Friends meals not looking too good either. All hot soups served tepid. Everyone seemed to get greasy roasted potatoes with their orders.Prices much too high for this mediocre food.

Club sandwich, weea. Plus $4.50 for a quater of an avocado of going rate. Ice tea $3.50 for about 4 oz, no free refills! Won't be back!

    Not coming back

I was there at night the place was empty. I had a meal for $40.00. I was alone. The food was not good and it was a cold till it got too me. Then I ordered a latte. It was not hot as well. Overpriced and poor service

    Mediocre

This is a diner making believe its a cafe. The coffee was mediocre and kind of acidic. The omelette was boring. My regular diner serves better coffee and eggs. The bill for brunch was close to $20 and overall I was disappointed by the mediocre experience. The staff and atmosphere are fine and its very convenient, but don't count on a delicious or satisfying experience!
