    Pretty Bad Service

Food was great but the service was terrible. It took forever to get our drinks. When they did arrive, the wine glass was covered in lipstick. They ended up comping this round. They then neglected our table, forgetting to offer us coffee or a dessert menu. We mentioned this and they then sent over a complimentary dessert. Our waitress explained to us that they were training her assistant however what bothered us most was that the manager never came over to our table to apologize. To top it all off, when the bill came, they had charged us for 2 appetizers while earlier in the meal, we mentioned that we only ordered one and our waitress said that she had wanted us each try one and it was on the house.

    Bar crowd + great food

I came in for drinks at the bar with a couple of co-workers and ended up staying for a bite to eat. The cocktails we had (for me, a riff on the New York Sour with Maker's) were pitch perfect and the scene was lively but not in the annoying out-of-towner way. We had some small plates at the bar -- fried pickles are a must -- and then sat down for dinner. The upstairs is a little fancy for three dudes, but I'm definitely coming back with my girlfriend.

    Seasonal, Great wine and service

We stumbled upon this gem and were pleasantly surprised by the enchanting mood and personal attention to our service. The menu was just as charming and fun as the restaurant. I started off with a local IPA from Brooklyn, peking duck wrapped in swiss chard with foie, sirracha, cilantro and pickled radish. Then we had a long island fried oyster served in the shell, tuna served with avocado mousse and a BLT with braised pork belly, chutney and smoked tomatos. I felt like the wine list was very well thought out and complementary. I'm looking forward to coming back with friends from out of town.

    Good and some really bad...

We just ate at Bobo. There was both good and quite bad….Here’s the good…The place looks great and its whimsical décor is attractive and transporting. It has several rooms, all unique and different. Also, the staff was great and really attentive. We tipped 20% and they deserved it. But now onto the food which is the bad….I had read the food was a “disaster” but did not want to believe it. I won’t go so far as to call it a disaster, but it was very disappointing and clearly not up to the caliber of the atmosphere or prices. They offer many appetizers for the table. We ordered nearly one of each and found all of them except the friend oysters and ahi tuna to be tiny, wacked out on pricing and disappointing. I had the striped bass for an entree. They mistakenly, I must assume, put green curry on it which overwhelmed the fish. The fingerling potatoes were also way undercooked. As for the desserts, at $12 each they were far too small to share, and aside from the chocolate cake not worth the calories. I can’t recommend this place to anyone, but still like the vibe and atmosphere.…

    Fantastic, must go back

Our server was fantastic, the atmosphere outside when it starts to get dark is very romantic and the duck is to die for. Actually all the food was fantastic, only issue is it is a little expensive for what you are getting (3 scallops for almost 30 dollars - come on, i know how much they cost), but for the experience it was wonderful. I will definitely go back and just not get the scallops

Bar scene better than the food

Downstairs the bar was pretty full, the drinks being poured, great pub food and a live band. We went upstairs to dine and ordered a nice bottle of wine. The decor is great and the tables were full. Appetizers were the tuna and the clam chowder(both were good). Main courses were the duo of pork (very bland) and the sea bass (VERY oversalted). Sides were the mushrooms and the brussle sprouts which were ok. Dessert was the sorbet. We would return for the bar and the pub food over the upstairs dining.

    Fabulous place

I have taken clients here on several occasions - and the food and service are consistantly fabulous. A bit pricey - but you get what you pay for.
