I loooove steaks and I've tried many in the city.. one night my boyfriend had the idea of bringing me to Bobby's.. I was like "eh okay i'll go" When we got there we were graciously greeted by the staff. the place was a bit empty but we had late resv (i think 9pm) I had the 20 oz filet (medium) with mashed potatoes and it was just heavenly. I ate the entire thing! Definitely a must on your list of steak joints in nyc because you would be a fool not to try...

My best friends in town so we opt her time in town for NY's best being that she lives in Vegas and the food's so so. Made reservations and was seated immediately. Multiple variety of bread, nothing to my liking. Went straight for the filet mignon well done w/ mash. Steak came out in a timely matter. 2 pcs were a little burnt but it was decent. Wasn't seasoned like Ruth's Chris's but ok. Mash tasted like powder mash, I've had better at elsewhere. The service was good.

Last time we were in NY, we had a fabulous dinner experience at Bobby Van's, what happened this time around? The seafood platter was okay but the sauces were bland. The porterhouse did not stand up to what we remember.

Amazing Steaks, A+ food and staff. But bring your company's expense account because it is a very expensive.

Hey Bobby! Get over yourself! Everyone is a critic. I have to agree with Jessica. Bobby Van's is the "Best in NYC!"

Regardless of what jessica says, this is not a place for "carnovores", but it is a great place for carnivores. Everything was great. I am going tomorrow and I will bring ten other CARNIVORES with me.

Must try. Despite the price, they have the best steaks!
