Friendliest place in the neighborhood.
We eat take-out here at least once a week. Collared greens and mac and cheese sides are addictive, fried chicken is second to none, the "pick any 3" brunch is the best. The lady behind the counter always wears a smile. If you're looking for soul food, seafood, or just something to nurse a hangover you need to try Bob Law's. My only real gripe is that they don't open for sunday breakfast until 11-so if you're sleeping in it's ideal.

Need bigger portions
The food was very tasty but not enough food for the money.

A great little place to eat.
My wife and I have eaten here many times and never been dissappointed. I've always been a Red Lobster kind of guy but Bob Law's is hard to beat (and close by). My wife loves the catfish, greens, and potato salad. Her family is from Georgia and she says that's how they do it "down home." I'm more basic shrimp, fries, and coleslaw but , whatever your preference, you can't go wrong. We've met Bob many times. In fact, he's almost always there EATING! Now that's a good sign. You will leave happy. Promise.

A place to eat
This is a nice cozy place to dine, but maybe better suited for take out. The food is delicious and service is good. It is a little small for my liking, but that shouldn't take away from the place as a whole.

Like a NC Sip on Friday!
You must be from the South to understand my title, but if you are or familiar with the concept of a sip then you know what I'm referring to...minus the liquor. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I came. I ordered the lunch box because I was on my way to the airport. What a delight! If lunch had been like this when I was in school, I wouldn't a lard ass now. The "summer salad" is refreshing. The veggies on the hot bar are to die for. When I need a dose of home, I get a fried fish sandwich. It comes with greens, which are fresher than those from the high brow restaurants. I only give service an average score because there is usually only one person that takes the orders, serves, works the front, etc. They need to streamline the process a little more to decrease the wait time. That's the only complaint (other than the snooty attitude of the owner's wife who owns the health food store down the street that's not up to par and has products with illegal supplement facts). The owner was extremely nice (and the opposite of his wife) when he came in one time. I didn't know why he was famous in the community, but the walls explain beautifully. I give he and his wife major props for trying to do something healthy for a community that is often overlooked in the natural products industry.
