Tasty Thai Food!
We waited about 15 minutes before we ordered, but once the food came, we forgot about the wait. Food was spicy and tasty, not just hot and ingredients were fresh. And the value was exceptional. I will definitely return!

Best Thai Food I've Ever Had
Don't let the title mislead you too much - I've only eaten thai food about half a dozen times, but this place was by far the best. I took my girlfriend here for dinner before a seeing 'Wicked' (it was very convenient - it's right across the street from the Gershwin Theater) and was quite happy with that decision. I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but I think that for every negative reviewer that was so incensed they had to slam the restaurant online there were probably ten or twenty who enjoyed the place and didn't work up the effort to write about it. So here I am to be 'that guy' - the atmosphere was very nice, perfect for a romantic date to be sure (subdued lighting, candles, soft music). The service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious (the steak appetizer and the duck entree were my favorites). The only qualm I have with the place was that, for the prices (about $15-$20 per entree), the portions weren't very large at all - I would definitely recommend getting an appetizer or salad in addition to an entree if you want to leave with a full belly. Though, from what I've seen at other thai places, small portions tend to be the rule, rather than the exception.

I miss Siam Inn
we were so disappointed when Siam Inn closed but were hopeful when we learned it was being rolled into Bluechili. However, the food does not resemble what we had at Siam Inn - We hope they bring back the chef and level of service at the old place!

Nothing special
There's nothing special about this restaurant. It is not cozy at all and does not appeal to the NY crowds or anyone visiting. The food was fine and is not too expensive. They should really work on their interior design to make it into a more appealing lounge.

Need your old Thai Chef from Siam Inn
This restaurant is a combo of Siam Inn rolled into Bluechili. I ordered the masaman and the staff assured me it tasted the same as it did at Siam. It did not. Cheap ingredients and plain curry for a high price is what I got. Blue Chili needs its old Thai Chef back. Rice didn't even come with the dish and I paid the same price as when it did. The person also didn't tell me that on the phone. Considering I had asked for extra rice, you'd think she'd mention it. Instead she just sent me one rice and charged me the extra. I won't be back.

A great experience
After reading some of the reviews here, i was skeptical. I brought my family to this restaurant, who are pretty picky eaters. First of all, the music was not as blaring as some reviews said it was - someone from the restaurant must have read those reviews and made the change. We had some delicious appetizers - the Thai beef and Thai dumplings. The beef was amazing and totally worth the $12. Entrees are priced reasonably, and sushi is pretty average in price. Someone in my party had the tangerine duck, which was really good, and served with a tri-color rice "cone" which was a nice touch. I had a plateful of sushi - two special rolls, which was (surprisingly) more than enough for one person. Sushi was fresh and delicious. I give this place 2 thumbs up!! Don't pass it up!

Disappointed
I have loved it here in the past, but not so excited this time. Don't get weird apps, like duck wraps etc. all disappointing, usually the sushi and sake is where it is at but this time the sushi wasn't that great, the sake was good, we always like the soft shell crab but this time the waiter didn't speak good enough english and brought us two instead of one. Beware the papaya salad it is very spicy in parts, but good with the pad thai, which is decent. I dont think i will be coming back. :[
