Delicious homemade food, great service
I live in the neighborhood and have eaten there at least 8 different times now. Enjoyed all my dishes every time, as did all my friends who were there with me. The service is very good and the people who work there are extremely nice. I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and have never been disappointed. All good and very fresh food. I am very surprised to read bad reviews here. This place is great.

Poor food and service but nice ambiance
I wasn’t impressed when this place opened but I gave it another chance last night, no improvement at all. Ordered mussels entrée as an app to share with a friend of mine. Not only was the sauce bland but the mussels were far from fresh, actually smelled rotten. After I sent them back the chef didn’t have the decency to apologize but note they came in yesterday and were fine. I’m still nauseated by the thought of the smell. Entrees we’re better but I need to note the pan seared mahi mahi was quite small and served in almost 1/3 cup of olive oil, way too much. Oh, and my water glass was never refilled until after I got the check. Nice atmosphere but I will not return.

Very enjoyable
I agree it is a great addition to the neighborhood. Service was good and food was very nice. i think the jam is homemade and maybe the biscuits too. I'll be back!

Great addition to the neighborhood!
Bluebell is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Decor/interior is homey cafe with some fun/quirky touches (e.g. "Chefs are Hot" sign above the kitchen). Food is very good; however, my advice is to stick to homestyle classics. Their mac and cheese is awesome - piping hot, loads of fresh herbs, delicious. Potato leek soup is chunky, unexpected and comes very hot (generous portion, too). Pulled pork is another success. Green salad with pickled onions and other market veg is also quite refined and tasty. Definitely try this place, we've got to make sure it has staying power!

French Toast!
Only complaint is that this place has ruined french toast for me anywhere else. Pulled Pork is also great! Great brunch spot.

What a shame
Stopped in for brunch hoping for some good home-cooked style food. Instead we found dirty coffee cups and salt and pepper shakers with dried ketchup on them…and that was before we got to the food. The biscuits are definitely not homemade and the rest of the food just tasted like processed junk. I'd expect a bit more when I'm paying $13 for eggs, homefries and bacon. Save your money and go to a diner.

i keep coming back for more
haven't had anything I didn't like, including brunch. I live in the neighborhood and while we have good restaurants, this is the first place I'd really call a "neighborhood" spot. Good service, good wine by the glass, the chicken thigh app is TDF. Also love the ahi tuna sandwich with great frenchy french fries.
