I dine out constantly in NYC. This place is bar-none, the BEST sea food in the city. Every single thing I've ever ordered here is a phenomenon on the palate. No one I've ever eaten w/ has been disappointed (I've probably eaten here between 15 and 20 times). To the people who complain about the price - welcome to top NYC cuisine. You should pay top dollar for the best food in the world, so quit complaining. Hands down, make a reservation. You will NOT regret it.

I have been here a total of three times and it is my favorite restaurant in Manhattan. The food is phenomenal, the service is attentive and the ambiance is amazing. It is a little on the pricey side, but completely worth it. I would highly recommend this place.

I went with a friend and her parents who were visiting from out of town. despite the ambiance and nice location i'm not sure what the fuss is about. my red snapper entree was bland at best and the clams were chewy and overcooked. the banana tower dessert and chocolate fondue seemed to be the best things we had. however, one of the specials that night was very good, just not worth the cost. i feel i've had equal and much better food for either the same money or less. other than the food itself, it was a very pleasant dining experience.

I am a frequent diner there and love everything they offer. I wish they would have a more reasonably-priced wine selection.

There's nothing special about this place. The food is mediocre at best. The service is adequate and the atmosphere is nice. The sushi is expensive and not that good. I don't think I will be back. I should have known better since I don't care much for their sister restaurant Atlantic Grill, either but I had to try it.

Basically, I think that quality suffers here because of the prime location/high rent. Went here for a Friday night dinner. The food was overall decent but nothing spectacular--I have had better food for the same prices at many other Manhattan restaurants. The bread was cold and hard. Our tablecloth was stained from the beginning and one of the napkins was oddly wrinkled. Throughout the meal, the music was also deafeningly loud in the main dining room. Our server was pleasant but clearly rushed and eager to usher us out in 2 hours.

Very romantic and nice restaurant mixed with amazing food and service. the sushi, salad, fish, and dessert was amazing, and the place was very romantic. I have not stopped recommending it to everyone I know. It's worth trying at least once!
