Blue Water Grill

After eating here once the Blue Water Grill has became a favorite sea food spot. I had the most wonderful peice of sea bass. Everyone in my party enjoyed all food. The sauces were outstanding to complement vegetables, fish, and shell fish. Banana tower for dessert: sweet and delicious. With live jazz and crowded room, it was much too loud, Hard to hear across the table.

Seafood lovers will be very satisfied. Great place to make a good impression for a first date.

No mattter how many times I have been to Blue Water Grill, I cannot seem to stay away. Everything that I have ever ordered, from the sushi rolls, to the seafood tower, to the blackened salmon and even to the Banana Tower--It is incredible. I love the atmosphere, it is always relaxing. Even though it often gets busy, the service is always great. For such a wonderful place, it is worth waiting for a table. This restaurant is wonderful for dates, romantic evenings, family gatherings, corporate gatherings or even just a group of single people going out for a good dinner. The jazz room downstairs is even pleasant

As a fierce jazz & seafood lover I can safely say this is THE place. During our 6 nights in NYC this one one of the best ones. We were seated in the lower ground dining room near the band and found the music and overall ambiance just perfect for a special date. The seafood was at its best: my shrimp and scallops grilled to perfection with some fresh vegetables steamed just right. Although the waitress did not know much about the huge selection of oysters we managed to sample some quite good ones in our 2 dozen platter. Although I wished the band played until most of the guest left (we felt like the concert was somehow abruptly finished) we still enjoyed our great chocolate cake with some spot-on suggested dessert wine. Definitely the first where good music and tasty food DO mix together!

I've been going here since my days in school (when my parents were in town that is) and it is pretty consistently a good place to take the "grown ups". The wines are great, the Chilean Sea bass is fantastic, and spring rolls are yummy. Usually anyone, no matter how picky, can find something they like. The tables outside are great but I've never not been hassled by someone walking by on the street....inside by the window is better.

Just a great all around restaurant. Awesome ambience, solid food, and extensive drink/wine list. If you love fish, you're in the right place, and if you don't there are still plenty of options. I like to bring people from out of town here because of the great location, atmosphere, and menu.
