What a disaster. I took a woman on a first date here last night to the "Jazz Room" and I doubt that she will ever call me again. I couldn't here a thing she was saying because the music was so loud. When I made the reservation with a manager a week prior, I specified a romantic table away from the band. We were as close to the band as we could be. Our food did not make up for this, especially for the price and the poor service. I will not return.

Our visit here was really quite the disappointment. I had heard great things about Blue Water but I was very let down. The seafood paella was uninspiring and the desserts could have been bought at the deli on the corner. The service was not attentive, our server acted as if we were a burden and the manager was just annoying. I would not even suggest this restaurant to someone I did not like.

I've been dining at Blue Water for years, especially at lunchtime, and I just had to comment on the Grilled chesse w/ duck . Delicious, delicious, delicious! So pleased to have such a tasty and different sandwich to choose from. Thank you!

I went there for father's day and loved it. the service was excellent and the food wonderful as usual.

This place used to be great, quality food, super attentive service- but sadly this is no longer the case. We waited 20 minutes after we were seated to give our drink order- and then the drinks didn't come until after our appetizers. The entire timing of the meal was poor with the waitstaff failing to fully clear the table between courses. There were 2 waitresses supposedly looking over our table however neither seemed to care about checking in to see if we needed more drinks or anything. Overall the food itself was good (and portions their usual petite size), although nowhere near as great as it used to be

I was excited to try the sushi, since I assumed it would be amazing and on par with some of the best sushi I've had in the city - and I've eaten everywhere - but MEH, it was not good. It was like the kind of sushi you'd get at that cheap place around the corner from your apt. HUGE pieces, more than one mouthful - which is just plain annoying. Uninspired sushi too. As well, the "special" soft shell crab roll I got was HUGE and had to be cut in two. I struggled to get through it.

I've been taken here on business lunches for the most part. The place is kind of bustling and the upstairs seating area is claustrophobic and a little scary as there are servers careening around with trays of food right over your head. Food is ok, though. Don't go if you don't like seafood - there won't be anything for you.
