My husband and I always pick a Danny Meyer restaurant when we have a special occasion or just want a great meal and attentive service. Blue Smoke is a wonderful place for both. The iceberg/blue cheese salad, the homemade potatoes chip, the brisket, mashed potatoes, cubano sandwich, pulled pork and desserts are just delicious! We will go back soon to try more menu items!

I took my sister to BS two weeks ago, we both had a great time. The food and service were exceptional. Order the carrot cake it's the best.

Jeeez some people are awful picky. This is a great restaurant for down home cooking. My husband and I love it every time we go. I have been a native New Yorker for 30 years and we try new restaurants all the time. We constantly go back to this one. I't was also rated as the best barbecue place in new york city by the Time Out Dining and Eating Mag, last year.

The aroma hits you as you come in the door. Good smoky smell wafting everywhere. Friendly staff and very attentive service! All the rib choices are excellent. Appetizers, however, have gotten skimpy. That's the only drawback though. Great atmosphere, no rushing, and plenty of chowing!

The food there is great. The Kansas City style full slab is great to share with 2 people... The side dishes are great too... I'm a big fan of the sweet potato fries.

I love the Kansas City Ribs, the babyback are okay and the service is great.

The suckling pig was a big let down. It tasted like turkey and the portion was small. I can say that the texas salt and pepper beef ribs are great though.
