Typical of the city, the menu has drastically changed since opening...when the food was much bettter and the menu less traditional...now it's still good but limited. Ribs are tops. Good music. No complaints, no accolades...I might go a few times a year.

Forget all the nuanced reviews...Overall a great experience...Had the mussels, bar-b-q chips appetizers...salad with blue cheese...all excellent...mussels fresh,spicy tomato broth...chips addictive...brisket sandwich buttery tender, enuf to split for 2...tasty vinegary coleslaw...butterscotch pie to die for...prices reasonable...atmosphere fun Go...you wont regret it..

Had dinner in jazz room. Music prety good but the food was not stellar for a second go. Houston's ribs better. Mac & cheese tops though and iceberg salad refreshing with the blue cheese drerssing.. Overall ok for a neighborhood place for me, felt tourist trapped for some reason. My lady loved the experience though because fo the music. She is a bonafide foodie and felt food was blah aswell. Nice try Danny but your other houses are better.

The Food in this restaurant is amazing! I love the rice and the drinks are great! I love this restaurant. I tell everyone to go check it out!

Don't listen to anyone that hsa the gall to go out and call someone else an idiot based on their restaurant review. Anyway, I had a delicious sandwich for lunch and a stellar milkshake, and really liked the rustic, down to earth, Southern, open atmosphere. Service was prompt and nice too.

There is so much about this place that is good, but for overpriced bbq regardless of the quality i'm really disappointed that the ribs were way too fatty from not being cooked long enough. it seems like for a danny meyer restaurant specializing in bbq, the bbq should be consistently great and it simply isn't. the mac and cheese and buffalo wings always are, but without the ribs what's the point? as for the last person to post...chill out and get a clue. if a restaurant isn't at it's best on it's busiest night, it shouldn't be in business.

Lauren who wrote on 8/13 was a loser in high school and in college then. What sorority scene was it? I guess you never got a bid. You wrote on the 13th so you probably ate on the 12th, a Saturday night so OFCOURSE this popular place is going to be packed with beautiful women at a nice spacious bar. The next time you write so negatively go there on a weeknight and tell me if it's bad then. Don't eat at places and expect the best this and the best that and everything has to be the best on a jampacked Saturday night. Welcome to New York...no southern hospitality here. Holla
