with the food or service. I love coming here and only here for the St. louis style ribs and sweet potato fries. They are bites of heaven. I will keep coming back.

With restaurant week I figured id give it a shot. the only reservation they'd give us was for 10:15pm We got there on time and were sat immediately, but also felt like we left immediately. it felt like we were being rushed out of the place. within 2 mins of ordering the starters were on the table, within 2 mins of finishing starters, the food was put on the table. and shortly after finishing and being asked if we want dessert the check was plopped down on the table and by 11:15pm we were in the cab going home!! Now on to the food... I had the toasted raviolis with shredded pork, they were decent but tasted much better with hot sauce instead of the marinara sauce. my girl got the pull and eat shrimp and had no complaints. Then for dinner i had the pulled pork platter w/ pit beans, mac and cheese, and collard greens. the pulled pork was very good. it was moist, fell apart, and had good flavor with the bbq sauce it comes with. the pit beans however, bear with me, literally tasted like baked beans and pork doused in Taco Bell Hot sauce. I mentioned it to my girl and she completely agreed, no good. The mac and cheese, like most people reviewed, was very good and i def recommend getting it. and the collard greens also were decent. So much to my dismay I more than likely wont be returning by my own choice. but if you have to go to find out for yourself like I had to, go with the pulled pork but sub the mac and cheese for the pit beans and you'll be happy. other then that you're on your own lol

My friends and I tried the ribs and there are MUCH better places out there, cheaper too. The ribs were dried, hard, and definitely not meaty. If you like chewing on bones, then this is your place. The only highlight of the day was the dessert. The hot fudge brownie sundae is to die for but for $7.95, it's way overpriced. For the price I paid for this meal, I could've gotten a lobster roll.

My family ate here last night and we were seriously disaapointed. As a serious BBQ lover, we know what a fried chicken should look like and taste like - but what came were three small pieces - looked like it was in the fryer too long and it came with water mashed potatoes. I had a burger that i ordered medium, but it came as raw as ever. But the service was great. Attentive and prompt. BUT STILL we paid too much for bbq. $50 a person!!

Food is pretty good including all the sides (even the baked beans are awesome). But the amount of ribs they give you per order, especially the rib sampler, just doesn't fill you up. Plus, the price for the ribs is definitely not cheap. Definitely need to try it though.

Nice staff, kid-friendly restaurant, food was decent for that kind of thing which I am not crazy about in the first place but... wine list is great by the glass and bottle and overall, great atmosphere!

Blue Smoke is a staple for me. I am origianlly from Kansas City and I am a regular here. The food is really good - it's not Kansas City barbecue, but they do a great job getting close. The mac and cheese is unbelievable - a very rich, creamy flavor, but that flavor is NOT processed cheese (as per an earlier reviewers assumption). The deviled eggs, chips and dip, and even their iceburg salad is delish. The one thing I don't really love are their burgers. You can get much better burgers almost anywhere in NYC. Also, their portions are not huge, and if you're from the midwest you know that bbq joints usually give you obscene amount of food. Now I want BBQ.... :)
