Burgers & Pulled Pork Are Tops!
One of my friends recently celebrated his birthday with a group dinner at Blue Smoke. I ordered the Blue Smoke Burger (topped with cheddar and bacon a must!) and fries ... it was DELICIOUS! After sampling the rest of the table's orders, I have to say that the pulled pork is also delicious, the brisket is thickly cut and tasty (but lacking the BBQ flavor), and the St. Louis ribs are also tasty (but nothing special). If you like to order sides, the hush puppies are pretty good, and although I didn't taste the mac & cheese, my friends gave it good reviews. If you like to order drinks, Blue Smoke offers complete beer, wine and cocktail menus, as well as a large selection of the harder stuff take your pick or mix and match! ) In sum, if you come for the burgers, the pulled pork and drinks, you'll enjoy the restaurant!

Fast Good and Affordable
My Husband and I went to Blue Smoke today. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and southern feel amidst the busy city. The food was quite tasty and the portions were just right. The servers were very friendly. Overall we would return with our children to enjoy a family night out. Blue Smoke is totally appropriate for couples with children. This gets an A+ in our book!

Yum, yum, yum!
I have visited "The Smoke" (as my husband and I call it) tons of times since it opened and all I can say is DELISH! I have never been let down and always leave stuffed. From the BBQ chips and blue cheese dip to the deviled eggs to the ribs and mac & cheese, everything is so gosh darn good that it can become habitual. And the key lime pie is awesome! My hubby is from Texas so we are terribly picky about our BBQ but "The Smoke" is our fave. The atmosphere is fun and laid back, the venue is attractive, and the service is great. If you have a hankering for ribs and sides, check this place out. Yum! Best BBQ in NYC. I also used them to cater my hubby's 30th birthday party at home. They took care of everything and the food was great. Big hit!

The burgers are top-notch!
Always like Blue Smoke but hadn't been for some years, so I went for dinner over the weekend. While the wait was indeterminably long (an hour and a half!!), it was well worth it: the burgers were fantastic and the best I've had in that hood for quite some time. The jalapeno fritters were pretty delish as well. Get your arse there, but be sure to make a res in advance.

Virgil's, RUB, and Mara's
Ate at Blue Smoke last night. I don't get the popularity of this place. It's always mobbed and loud. I had the Memphis ribs which were incredibly bland, and the mac & cheese which was good until it got cold. I had a delicious Shiraz which turned out to be $9.00! I should have asked first.

Our BBQ bubble was bursted
My wife & I ate at here last night. Definitely try the pork ravioli but the sauce could have used more bite. My wife ordered the baby backs. In terms of meat-she was biting all bone. In terms of taste-they were bland. I went with the rib sampler. None of the flavors were that distinct and I too was diappointed with the amount of meat on the bones. Oh yeah, and absolutely nothing that came out of the kitchen was hot. We will probably not go back for the food but maybe for another pitcher of Abita Light (LA).

Never dissapointed........
with the food or service. I love coming here and only here for the St. louis style ribs and sweet potato fries. They are bites of heaven. I will keep coming back.
