I know this place has some good reviews which is why I ordered from them but my experience was disappointing. I ordered a shrimp roll which was a crispy over fried piece of shrimp in a wrapper--pretty much inedible. I got the Cantonese wonton soup with roast chicken....they chop up the chicken, bones and all and put it in the soup container! You can't serve little bits of bone!? I couldn't even eat it. Plus the wontons were filled with mystery meat, but I had assumed it would be chicken, I doubt it was. Then I had the shrimp fried rice and it was alright but all the shrimps had the black vein still inside -ew- and it made me no longer hungry. I want my $17.51 back.

Went out with my soon to be girlfriend. The fish quality was good; the price was fair. In my opinion, the service could have been better. Despite the restaurant being half-full, we felt rushed. Otherwise a great little place with an interesting menu.

this place is great. i've eaten at the restaurant and have ordered the take-out too. it seriously has NEVER disappointed. the sushi is so fresh and delicious. I actually get weekly cravings for the madrid role. love it!

I love that I found this place, thanks to Menu Pages! It's just 2 blocks from my apartment and is a reasonably priced, great quality sushi place! The rolls are great - good selection and the sushi and sashimi are of good quality fish. I'll be there weekly!

Went to BLue Ginger after work with a female friend. The place was mostly empty but this was probably due to it being only 5:30 pm on a Tuesday. But this wasn't exactly a bad thing as we had the full attention of the staff, whom we found to be helpful and friendly. Had the Sex on the Beach Rolls with a side of California Rolls and Miso and it was both tasty and frespractically melting in my mouth. My friend had Miso soup and the spicy salmon rolls, which she devoured. For desert I had the tempura cheesecake which was awesome and well presented. My friend had the tempura ice cream, which vanished from her plate in mere minutes. Overall an excellent experience. I'd go again.

We learned about Blue Ginger from Menupages.com. We are so happy we tried it. The sushi was fresh, melt in your mouth delicioius with a price that cant be beat for the quality. The banana tempura with vanilla ice cream was an incredible ending to our meal. The service experience was incredible, she poured our drinks for us, wiped our table after every course, even found out what song was playing for my boyfriend. They had the front windows wide open so we could all have the breeze from outside.
