Great food and super affordable..
I love BLUEginger.. The food is always fresh and yummy. Drinks are super yumm. Best drink is the Lychee Caipirinha.. I go often and have never had a bad experience. The waitstaff is amazing.. Any the 'wall art' is uber amusing. Be sure to check out the bathroom.. LOL!! I have never ordered out from there as I dont believe sushi is really a delivery type food...

Not recommended
We got delivery, which we have done a few times front his restaurant and never had a problem but tonight the such was completely inedible...The manager (I called to complain which I never do) told me that they get fish fresh daily, but it was left out or something happened to it...I had to pay for this as the manager wouldn't give credit on this order -only for next...Gee thanks

Just OK
I've been eating sushi in New York since the late 70's. I know what makes raw fish a quality product. Blue Ginger is just OK, but certain sashimi offerings were under-par. Very tough tako (octopus) to the point that I couldn't chew the slices. I actually had to remove one from my mouth. Other offerings were all right, not tasteful though, and not memorable. Some of the prices are fair and affordable, but this was my first visit and I doubt that I'll return.

Overpriced for mediocre food
Rolls are just ok -- too much sauce! Plus, at $3.50 for ONE piece of sushi is ridiculous. You're better off going to Momoya around the corner on 7th for the price.

Pretty sushi
My friends and I thought the sushi here was delicious. We shared 5 of their specialty rolls, and our favorites were the Chelsea roll, love roll, sex on the beach roll and the dragon roll. The service was decent, the mojotos were pretty good, and we enjoyed the atmosphere

Always the best
Blue Ginger is my "go-to" for sushi delivery. My order is always correct, delivery is quick, and they are always super friendly when I call. I find the food is pretty tasty, and always fresh.

Love this place!
My boyfriend and I order from here about once a week. They are super courteous on the phone, have never messed up an order, and the delivery is consistently speedy (about half an hour, sometimes a little less!) It's not the creme de la creme of sushi in NYC, but it isn't trying to be. It IS fresh, delicious sushi at a very reasonable price. We love Blue Ginger! (caveat: I can't speak to the service in the restaurant, as we always order in.)
