Overpriced for mediocre food
Rolls are just ok -- too much sauce! Plus, at $3.50 for ONE piece of sushi is ridiculous. You're better off going to Momoya around the corner on 7th for the price.

Pretty sushi
My friends and I thought the sushi here was delicious. We shared 5 of their specialty rolls, and our favorites were the Chelsea roll, love roll, sex on the beach roll and the dragon roll. The service was decent, the mojotos were pretty good, and we enjoyed the atmosphere

Always the best
Blue Ginger is my "go-to" for sushi delivery. My order is always correct, delivery is quick, and they are always super friendly when I call. I find the food is pretty tasty, and always fresh.

Love this place!
My boyfriend and I order from here about once a week. They are super courteous on the phone, have never messed up an order, and the delivery is consistently speedy (about half an hour, sometimes a little less!) It's not the creme de la creme of sushi in NYC, but it isn't trying to be. It IS fresh, delicious sushi at a very reasonable price. We love Blue Ginger! (caveat: I can't speak to the service in the restaurant, as we always order in.)

May as well order in aggravation, order delivered was not what we ordered
Like most ny ers, we 'used to' order in all of the time. By the time we realized that half of the orders we would received had one or more things wrong per what we desired, made a pact, no more. Either go out or cook. Well after a really long time I desired for a rainy day lunch and chose this for it is close by. Disaster, just ONE time I break the pact. "Please brown rice" "Please make SURE brown NOT white". response "okay, but dollar more, and dollar more for hot sauce" comical but did not care, money no issue. Finally get it - white riceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. and then they me to bring it in or send a person here? really? just honor that you sent the wrong thing, when all I asked is for one simple request. As when I requested to speak to owner/boss - he was 'not in'. "I am just the waitress, sorry no refund". "But my only dish needed to be brown rice". Sorry. "When will the boss or owner be in". "I don't know am just a waitress". lesson here... not good business practice.

Quality neighborhood sushi joint
Sushi is always fresh and delicious...we order and eat here at least once a week!

LOVE this place
My boyfriend and I order from this place at least once a week--it's delicious sushi at an affordable price. Sometimes the edamame is a little (overcooked/undersalted), but other than that, this place is awesome! They also give you little bowls of melon and grapes for free if you order 3 (?) or more rolls. I haven't eaten at the restaurant in ages so I gave average reviews for atmosphere and service, even though I can't really speak to that. Definitely a great place to order from! I live in Chelsea and the delivery is also super fast.
