Best brunch choices!
Always eat upstairs-walk up the graceful stairs to a beautiful open yet romantic atmosphere. Terrific choices-eggs to sandwiches to bigger entrees. Service is always great-been our favorite for years! Going back, pre-theater, in two weeks.

2nd time was a charm!
My second experience 7.22.09 at Blue Fin was better than the first visit 2 years prior. The food was excellent...unagi, striped bass and sorbet for dessert. My guest enjoyed the cod which was seasoned very well. Service was impeccable from the host(s) to the waitress. Atmosphere upstairs was very nice for a pre-theater early dinner. I would recomend and will go back again!

Great sushi!
I went here with my mom for dinner one night. We called last minute but they were still able to get us a table in a timely manner. The sushi was the best I have ever had in my entire life, and that is saying a lot. I would recommend to anyone!

Great brunch
We had pancakes with berries. they were the best I ever had. My only complaint is I would have liked more berries. Great coffee and mimosa and excellant value for midtown manhattan.

Great Service at Blue Fin
I rarely write reviews, but I have gone to Blue Fin twice for restaurant week lunch and both times I received impecable service at the tables near the bar. The restaurant week menu is excellent, however I find that the normal menu is a little less adventurous. Worth a trip during restaurant week.

A Brunch to Remember
Nine L.I. gals set out for pre-matinee brunch this Sunday. Wonderful ambiance, modern decor. Staff could not be more attentive. Bathrooms are state of the art, and the food.. perfect. Highly recommend.You would think the high ceilings would make it difficult to hear. They had some tricks up their sleeves when they made this restaurant.. 9 of us and you could hear every word. Enjoy We will be back.. Thanks all!

from long island but love the city!
nine of us went into the city today to see billy elliot (GREAT BY THE WAY) and wanted to go to brunch instead of dinner so i read the reviews on menu pages like i always do and the blue fin restaurant was wonderful!!!our server was jose and he was perfect!!the hostess downstairs monica was so sweet and nice and the mngr cara was very attentive and kept an eye on all the tables to make sure everyone there was happy!and for the last review ,the bathrooms were clean and smelt great (candles burning)so i don't know what they saw but the entire time at the blue fin was great! def.check it out! thanks again to the above mentioned!
