    subpar

Why is it that a place that supposedly caters to children has to dumb things down so much that it borders on insulting? I ate here with my wife and daughter a few weeks ago, and it was absolutely disgusting. You could tell the burgers were frozen, not freshly made, and the fries were mediocre at best. There is nothing appealing about this place. Upper West Siders really need to consider the following: Is this what we want our children to think is an acceptable dining out experience? Why is poor food, TVs and a grungy atmosphere considered ok for a "family friendly" place? Thank you Homer's for reminding me why the most satisfying meals are those cooked and eaten at home. You've inspired us to stop eating out simply for the sake of doing so.

    great for a family

This place is a great place to bring your family. They always have kids shows on the t.v.'s, they have AMAZING MILKSHAKES, they have games and the menu has everything you could want. I recommend the sliders and the burgers. Also, they have great french fries. I definately recomend this palce for your kids.

    Not worth it

I ordered a B-52 and my finace order the mexi-dog, while we were waiting he asked the waitress the size of the meals. Seeing how we were starving it didn't seem like enough so we ordered a chicago dog as well. The B-52 was basically a hot dog split in half with a cut up sausage patty on top with toppings one of which was old looking bacon. Sadly I read the reviews and didn't listen because the ones in January were awful but the later ones made me think that the place had changed. Don't be like me, $30 down the drain!

    The spot for sliders

I am all about sliders - these are the best on the UWS - try them with the shoestring fries - and a milkshake - good service - nice atmosphere - go after the the kids have cleared out in the evening and the place is great -

food is what you'd expect, very kid friendly, staff is awesome, welcoming, friendly, service is prompt (slower when busy). This is just an all around fun restaurant with a great atmosphere, i highly recommend it.

    Dino-mite!

Good food - big portions - good service - nice people - it is what it is a kool diner with flat screen TV's games for the kids - and Bassets ice cream - Been here a few times now - last week saw Helen Hunt with her kid and Tina Fey with hers - then Al Roker - nobody was bothering them just chilling - pretty kool uws joint.

    poor food

What a disaster- the works burger(frozen) and fries -limp microwaved and no taste- the worst meal I have had i nyc. very kid-friendly- that is why we went- food took for ever- staff was great- we barely touched our food- our kids did not eat one fry. I feel bad - but this explains why they were empty at 1 pm on a wednesday afternoon.
