World Traveller's Choice
I was recently informed by a close NY friend that my absolute favourite place to eat had closed down. I am very sad. I have been to 36 countries throughout my life and would like to say that I am somewhat experienced when it comes to fine dining - this restaurant won, hands down, and was the only place in New York I ate at on a regular basis. The food, the wine, the service, and the delightful jazz music made this place such a treat. I hope that all involved will be able to create a similar project one day, I would definitely attend.

It's too late
I went back to blue caravan with a lot of friends this Saturday . Guess what? The place is closed, there is no more Moroccan food , the replaced it with cheap Chinese dimpling . What a shame. After we finally found the unique and the best Moroccan food in NYC. Now is gone. I think new York times and NYMagazine missed the opportunity to try something unique in the city. But it's too late now. If this chef reopen another restaurant, I will definitely be the first one to support him. Unfortunately I will never go back to this location. What a shame.

Wonderful food on the West Side
A great addition to the neighborhood. Lamb Tagine and Cornish Hen both outstanding. Friendly service. The only question is why isn't it more crowded ?

Perfect
We went here for dinner with several different groups of out of town friends, with a total of 8 people. I really couldn't have asked for anything more. Service was excellent and prompt. My lamb shank was superb, the meat literally falling off the bone when i touched it with my fork. We'll definitely be going back!

Great place!
This place is a new neighborhood gem. Great food, everything we tried was delicious. I strongly recommend this place.

A wonderful surprise
We had friends coming into town from the west coast and wanted a place that offered a few different types of cuisines. The Blue Caravan's menu is fantastic...a little something for everyone...great apps (they could be the whole meal) and service that was fast but not hovering. The wine list is very approachable and affordable and the ambiance (read: chic, dim blue lighting) is perfect for an intimate night or just a really special night with friends. I was thrilled to finally get there and will definitely be back!I was shocked it was not more crowded-almost like no one has figured out out yet!

It's really good
I was really looking for a very good Moroccan restaurant in New York City....i finally found it. i can't describe all the food that we had that night..but i was happy with my couscous and Tagines..they have all kind of Moroccan food. And it was so delicious. I was so curious to know about the chef..and it was a big surprise to me, when i found out that the owner is the chef. And he had a previous Moroccan restaurant that was considered as the best one in NYC. I will go back to blue caravan for sure. and i strongly recommend it to everyone.
