    Of course....

Of course it is not as good as in n out. Shut up already! But it will hold you over until you can get to the southwestern states. It is a decent knock-off of an excellent FAST FOOD chain. Eat it!

I love burgers more than anything...

...however, Blue 9 just didn't do it for me, burger was okay but not enough for an 8-block detour. Fries were awful - a bunch of tiny, crumbled pieces. Environment & Staff lacked any energy. My recommendation - great replacement for fast food burgers, but not worth the detour...

    Objective Observer from the Midwest

As a transplant from Michigan to NYC and a HUGE fan of INO when I'm on the West coast I have to weigh in. Blue 9 burger is great but it is no match for INO. The ingredients for both are fresh but somehow the final product at INO is better quality ultimately. Blue 9 is a great burger fix if you are craving INO, however. The atmosphere is a little bit grungy if you are comparing it to the immaculate INO restaurants. In N Out is the best but thank goodness for Blue 9.

    Ummm...yes.

Sounds like the California heat has gotten to your head. "INO" is like McDonalds on crack compared to the Blue 9. Mmmm...burgers.

No substitute for In N Out

As a So Cal transplant reading comparisons to In N Out, I have to say blue 9 is no INO. My girlfriend and I went to blue 9 looking for a good burger, and I guess I can say we got it (best fast food burger we've had in the city), but it's definitely not In N Out. All you east coasters meeting people from california raving about In N Out who answer "oh, we have blue 9, it's the same" are greatly mistaken. I think the biggest difference is the meat in the burger and the service/atmosphere. Blue 9's a little grungy and the meat patties a little sub par compared to In N Out... anytime I get back to the west I gotta have my Double Double.

    Retro Burgers

Quite a decent burger joint. No frills, but no BS either. Recomended.

    Yesss!!

I agree 100% - just as good (if not better) as the great west coast chain In-n-Out. Fast burgers with FRESH ingredients, and the fries combined with the amazing dipping sauce are the best anywhere. No frills. Simply everything you could want in a burger joint.
