This is the best steakhouse yet. The appetizer was great. The kobe beef just melts in your mouth. Service was perfect.

What a great experience! My daughter and I really enjoyed a great meal and wonderful, attentive service. We started with marinated tomato appetizer which was flavorful and well presented with fresh pesto and mozzerella. We then had the marinated swordfish steak and filet which were so flavorful that we didn't need the flavored sauces that were provided with them. Desserts were fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was busy, but fun - who wants to eat in an empty restaurant? We will visit again!

BLT prime is just the type of restaurant that gramercy needs. Fun and comforting. I have been there 3 times. The food is always excellent. The service bustles. The speciality drinks are great. The winelist is the most innovative steak list in the city! Go here if you want to have fun, great steaks and sides and wines that will blow your mind!

If you skip the noise and get right to the food, this "steak house" has to rate as one of the worse. Service was uncaring and similar to eating in a diner, but was paced properly. The Tomato Onion salad was uninspiring. The sirloin for two was cold and not close to medium rare, it was more rare, and was tough and tasteless. The home fries with cheese, I think that was the topping, was not good and nachos would have been better. The only positive in the food category was the peanut butter chocolate desert which was very good. Save your money and try the other steakhouses if you want excellence for the price.

Just like BLT steak- the food here was fabulous. The porterhouse was perfect and I am never happy. The sides could have less oil on them- but that's just me. Desserts are great as is the wine list. Worth every penny- great bartender as well!

Loved it. I've been to some truely horrible places but this was a breath of fresh air. Firstly, I must say the service was excellent, there honestly wasn't much more they could have done for us - checked back constantly and were able to answer any questions we had. Went on a Sunday night on a friends recommendation and we were not let down. We both ordered the filet and it was cooked perfectly and wasn't fried in a pan with butter like a lot of the new york steakhouses seem to think necessary. I don't understand this really, why ruin a beautiful piece of meat? Top, top place. If you want lovely steak in New York come here. Filet was $40.

Went there this past Saturday i would recommend this place food was very good just a little pricey side dishes were way to small mashed potatoes creamed spinach etc, you also cannot order a porterhouse just for one person they only serve for two to share which I think is ridiculous.
