BLT Fish Shack

Premium prices are charged for really average food. The coleslaw was oversalted with no tang. The tuna steak had to be sent back as it was overcooked and appeared as though it had been cut with a mandoline it was so thin. Nothing was inedible but nothing was very good. For the prices charged, one expects quality ingredients not a barely adequate meal.

BLT fish shack is one of my neighborhood faves! the atmosphere is fun and inviting. the lobster roll is terrific! the raw is always spot on fresh. the music is great for those who grew up in the 70s and 80s. the cocktails are fun and inventive. try the squid ink or shipwreck. either way you fall victim to this sea worthy place

I've been to BLT fish upstairs and down a few times and thought I should finally write a little review. I love it downstairs. Casual and fun atmosphere, creative house cocktails and now they have cute frozen drinks too. Friendly and attentive servers are always on point. Sometimes there can be a long wait without reservations (so make them if you can), but the bar is fun, if a little small. The lobster roll appears expensive, but I think its worth it. The yellow submarine is my favorite cocktail!
