After reading the other reviews, I was a little hesitant in trying this restaurant....... but took a chance. My experience was great and I can honestly say that I would recommend this joint for real burger lovers. Management must have worked out the personnel issues because our server was on top of things the entire meal. He was very friendly and always aware of what we needed before we asked. The burger reminds me of a slightly larger "Shake Shack" burger (in my opinion - delicious!) The food is a little pricey but the atmosphere is nicer than most burger places so I wasn't too turned off by the price. I'd say, give the restaurant another chance. Sometimes it just takes awhile to work out the kinks in a newly opened place. (And I highly recommend the Grandma's Treat milkshake - YUMMY)

People, there are burgers. If you haven't tried it, you're not missing much. Seriously. Food is alright. I've recently had 'goodburger' in midtown which just opened up and theirs was much better, cheaper, better fries, and better shakes. The name BLT brings a certain hype but the food and the service certainly does not live up to it. My experience: 1x dine in, 1x delivery From both of my experience, it is clear. Food is simply mediocre, fries sub par. Service....well, mr. Tourondel's got some serious logistics issues he needs to work out if he wants to keep the restaurant open. Delivery took total of 1 hr and 56 minutes, with initial attempt and subsequent attempt to deliver the correct menu failed. After two hours, i was not offered a refund until I told them that I'd like to cancel the order. I believe they did that not out of admitting to their fault but to minimize the further confusion. Also, what's up with the attitude of the wait staff? They are selling burgers! It must be a step up from working at the Mickey D's, but come on!

I went on opening night and I must say the food was excellent, but it ends there....I cant imagine their waiters ever worked in the food service industry before and the music is way too loud.

Best part about the meal was the sweet potato fries, which were very good. Burger was decent, but nothing special. No wait on a Sunday afternoon, but the waiter was clueless and seemed to disappear (impressive in a small restaurant). Peanut butter shake was spilled all over our table, and everyone from the restaurant was happy to help out except for our waiter. They told us they were going to give us the shakes for free, but then kept them on the bill. After we complained, the waiter and manager took 20 minutes to figure out their system to take off the cost, but ended up just giving us 20% off. Decent enough food, but the service has a long way to go. Doesn't compete with the the other top burger places on atmosphere and overall experience.

This restaurant is so disorganized. The waiter actually said to me "I'm confused". Our order took 30 minutes and came out completely wrong. We couldn't find our waiter for the check. It's a mess. The food is fine, but comparable to any diner hamburger.

Was totally looking forward to the opening of BLT Burger in my neighborhood. Went with a few friends on Saturday night and didn't mind the 45 minute wait for a table or the gum-snapping hostess. What I did mind was the poor table service, the mediocre food, and the deafening soft rock. Waitress seemed disinterested and distracted - she made several trips back to confirm that she'd gotten our order WRONG - then remained AWOL for the rest of the meal. Several requests for our beverages went unfulfilled. After another 45 minute wait for food I was served an ultra thin, lukewarm milkshake and onion rings at room temp. The burger, I must say, was pretty darn good - but if you're charging high-end burger joint prices, I expect a polished experience. Toroundel might want to be careful with what he chooses to slap his name on. I've decided to cancel a planned dinner at BLT Steak after this unpleasant evening. Think I'll steer clear of the BLT empire from now on.

My wife and I ate there for dinner - the 35 min. wait quickly morphed into 50 min. Meanwhile, we watched as servers mooned around and more than one table sat empty for 20 min., and this with a line out the door. After our food came (relatively promptly), inexplicably, they told us, "there are no more fries," which is like saying we have no more burgers at a burger place. Turns out both fryolaters had broken, but instead of trying to make amends by offering us something, anything, they went ahead and charged us for the fries anyway. We mentioned this to one of the managers who interrupted his reverie long enough to ask us how our food had been. We told the manager that he could built goodwill by offering us a free anything, and he rushed to give us two cupcakes as we left. Bottom line: the food is good (milkshake was a little thin, however), but the place is totally disorganized. Front of the house has to get its act in order.
