Best Vegan Spot in Town!
I love Blossom! It's so nice to go for fancy vegan food in a place with nice atmosphere, not a trace of stereotypical hippie trappings to scare off non-believers. It may be pricey but the portions are hearty so it's very worth it. I love that the uptown Blossom has a completely different menu that is also amazing.

i don't get it.
i ordered delivery from blossom (fast) based on all these good reviews, but now i'm wondering... ordered the 'skyscraper' burger which came with a mooshed tomato and a sad, hockey puck vegan pattie. nearly inedible. had high hopes for the beet salad, but that arrived with a tiny 1/3 cup serving of shredded beets, a few hastily sliced peppers and a whole container of greens. i won't order from here again as it's an extremely poor value. it's this kind of food that gives vegans a bad name.

not sure why i dont adore this place
my husband does. and i agree to eat here with him for special occasions & he is never disappointed. we've been vegans since 2005 & we've made the rounds of the vegan restaurants in the city. sometimes it is the service, sometimes it is the food; sometimes it's just a little claustrophobic --- seating tends to be very close due to space. the food for me is unmemorable. and, as vegan restaurants tend to be, expensive. i applaud Blossom's existence as we need as many vegan options as possible, but as one other reviewer cited: i am underwhelmed.

Best vegan/vegetarian in NYC
3rd generation vegetarian, dining with my vegan partner, so we've eaten a fair amount of mediocre restaurant food over the last 50-odd years. Blossom was incredible! Creative, innovative, well balanced flavors, inventive ingredients. Take your obligate carnivore friends. Certainly not cheap but worth every penny.

Fabulous
Our favorite place. The food is delicious and non vegans always leave happy (and surprised!) It's elegant, but unpretentious dining. Maybe some dishes are a little overworked, but everything is incredible tasty, beautifully prepared and plated. The pride shows. Service is pleasant and professional. Space is attractive and warm. Prices are high, but not ridiculous. It's such a pleasure to relax in a *fine* restaurant, and not have to ask about every ingredient. We also want to love their 'sister' chocolate shop across 9th, Cocoa V, but we can't. It's everything that Blossom isn't: way overpriced, uninviting, kind of unfriendly, and their offerings are mediocre to awful.

I Love Blossom
I'm never disappointed with this place. I've been going for years and I swear it just keeps getting better. We had the best all around experience there the other night. I know 79 is supposed to be top dog, but I think Blossom is, except for their desserts, those could be better but the rest of the menu including their wine choices are incredible.

Keep up the good work!!
I've eaten here a lot and I always love my meal. Just tried the lasagna, and I'm blown away. It could rival any great italian restaurant's. The BLT is also extremely delicious~ I wish it could be ordered during dinnertime. Keep up the good work!! This place always wins the argument, "but what do vegans eat???"
