I read the reviews, but decided to try em out myself and I'm really glad I did. I'm not sure what the negative nellies are talkin about, but these wings rock and..I've been to Buffalo too:).....I've ordered em in twice and they are delicious, nice sized and really flavorful (never dried out like bad wings can be). I've lived on the Upper East Side and had the wings at Entourage, a bar that people on here think has great wings and Blondie's wings are, hands down, quite a bit better than the wings at Entourage. If you haven't been to Blondie's in a while or ordered from them in a while, give them a try. I'm a fussy wing guy and I loved em.

First, may I say that I know wings like Bo knows football. I've been to the Anchor Bar in Buffalo where the wing was invented, and count the Buffalo wing as one of my favorite foods. Blondies wings are good, but it ends there. Nothing special, and certainly nothing deserving of all the ridiculous accolades as having the best wings in Manhattan. That's ridiculous, and obviously this place has profited handsomely on this reputation, as the wings here are stupidly expensive. Sadly, too often in Manhattan when a place earns a positive reputation for something and Zagats etc.... picks up on it, immediately the prices go way UP and the quality goes way DOWN. This is exactly what happened with Blondies. Typically, the next step in this viscious NYC resto cycle is the place will close down in a few years. I hope this is not the case with Blondies, as I do like the atmosphere, and whereas some here seem to be annoyed by the number of T.V. sets, I actually think it's cool. Blondies is a good choice to have a few draft beers and watch the game, but if you're specifically going here with high expectations on the wings you'll be disapointed.

I've been dropping into this place for approximately 3-4 years. I use to think the wings were great and I couldn't stay away . In fact, many UWS'ers, including my foodie friends, felt the same way. I even liked the atmosphere . It was really laid back with lots of nice people. The last few times I went, I didn't find myself craving more so I've stopped going. I thought it was just me but, perhaps, the wings have changed as others mentioned here. I also forgot about the price increase until I read the previous post. I would be perfectly happy paying extra if the food was just as good and it wasn't used to support their very poor decision to install [what seems like] 40 flat-screened TVs. I know it's a sports bar but this is way over the top.

$8 for 10 wings??!! $5.50 beers? Is this an overpriced midtown place or blondies? If these were the prices my whole life it would have been cheaper to buy the place then eat in it. One more great place that the yuppies have ruined. $8 for 10 WINGS??!!

Blondies Wings are definitely the best, and some of these negative reviews have me confused. I've been eating at Blondies forever, and the prices have gone up, but it was at least a year before the arrival of flat screens (which brighten up the place a lot) -- doesn't everyone need to up their prices once in a while? Yeah, sometimes my delivery order gets messed up, but they are always happy to fix it or give a discount off next order. Again, every place makes mistakes sometimes, but to me a good place is one that is happy to make it right for you. Blondies is fun, and mostly the food is excellent (salads, not so much, but who goes to a sports bar for a salad?!?), and every time i've been there the staff has been super friendly (not to mention cute).

I've only had delivery from them, but they have great service -- correct delivery orders & quick service. I really like there buffalo chicken tenders; the small order comes with 5-6 tenders which is really great for the price. Jalepeno poppers weren't very good & neither was the dipping sauce that came with them. All in all, this is a great bar/restaurant on the UWS

Just like the once-great Maurice Clarett, Blondie's was a great place to eat wings and drink beers with friends. Now, profit is the clear driver, the old charm is gone. For beer at strip club prices ($5.50 per Corona), emaciated wings, and sad salads, try Blondies. They put a lot of money into flat screens, cut the quality of the food and raised the prices...New Yorkers are too smart for that.
