Good watering hole
OK, OK already! So it's not 21 or the Four Seasons...it's not trying to be! BUT, if you're looking for good down home kinda bar-food and drinks, you'd be hard pressed to find a better spot....especially on the UWS! The bar maids are incredibly cute, and they accommodate a wide range of drink mixology. Go ahead...test them. they make the best Manhattans, Martinis and Cosmos, and the price won't floor you. The ORIGINAL chicken tenders are to die for as are the hot sandwiches and chili. The best part is that this is not a politically liberal establishment, and one can find a wide diversity of opinion without the hostility of the UWS. Need to chill? You've found the place.

pub grub the way it should be
I love Blondies' hot wings and waffle fries. As someone who has actually had wings in Buffalo NY I can say these are terrific. Blondies is the consummate sports bar- nothing "nouveau". Classic-bar good eats.

Wings So-So, Nice Place to watch a game
The wings were okay. I had the All you can eat wings for 13.95.. pretty expensive. I got the Scorchin.. which was extremely hot and spicy.. (i could smell the spice and i would literally cough) and that wasnt even the hottest one they offer. They offer two more higher. Pretty expensive. Also, tried the honey bbq wing which was good. The garlic wings are so bad.. Its like heart attack waiting to happen.. soaked in butter seems like and it had a weird flavor. The beer was watered down. Went today on a monday night.. its a great place to watch a football game though. Maybe ill go here again to try a milder buffalo wing.

Same great wings as 12 years ago
I have been going to Blondies ever since it used to be on 76th & B way, it's original location that closed a while ago. Well anyway their wings have always been the best in NYC in my opinion and haven't changed at all. Considering I went to school upstate & have tried thousands of wings from Buffalo to Oneonta to Binghamton, I think it's an opinion people can trust. Their other selections are solid as well, mini-dogs, smothered fries, cheesesteak, nachos and burgers are all worth it. Finally their delivery is always consistently between 20 & 25 minutes, no matter what day it is.

dang good wings
I read the reviews, but decided to try em out myself and I'm really glad I did. I'm not sure what the negative nellies are talkin about, but these wings rock and..I've been to Buffalo too:).....I've ordered em in twice and they are delicious, nice sized and really flavorful (never dried out like bad wings can be). I've lived on the Upper East Side and had the wings at Entourage, a bar that people on here think has great wings and Blondie's wings are, hands down, quite a bit better than the wings at Entourage. If you haven't been to Blondie's in a while or ordered from them in a while, give them a try. I'm a fussy wing guy and I loved em.

Disappointing wings and ridiculously $$$
First, may I say that I know wings like Bo knows football. I've been to the Anchor Bar in Buffalo where the wing was invented, and count the Buffalo wing as one of my favorite foods. Blondies wings are good, but it ends there. Nothing special, and certainly nothing deserving of all the ridiculous accolades as having the best wings in Manhattan. That's ridiculous, and obviously this place has profited handsomely on this reputation, as the wings here are stupidly expensive. Sadly, too often in Manhattan when a place earns a positive reputation for something and Zagats etc.... picks up on it, immediately the prices go way UP and the quality goes way DOWN. This is exactly what happened with Blondies. Typically, the next step in this viscious NYC resto cycle is the place will close down in a few years. I hope this is not the case with Blondies, as I do like the atmosphere, and whereas some here seem to be annoyed by the number of T.V. sets, I actually think it's cool. Blondies is a good choice to have a few draft beers and watch the game, but if you're specifically going here with high expectations on the wings you'll be disapointed.
