Again, gal from Texas here. But from what I've tried around this area - this place takes the cake. The margaritas aren't exciting, but they are decent. The burrito I had was fairly good as well, though the sauce not spicy. The salsa itself isn't very spicy but at least has a unique flavor which allows it to beat out all the nearby restaurants. Fun atmosphere too. I will prolly be back if I stay in this area:)

I ordered the grande nachos with chicken- they were soggy but I had to eat some of them anyway because it took 45 minutes for them to be delivered and I was hungry. Also, they came with a side of chips, which is just weird. I'm betting they made the nachos when I called in the order and then they just sat there until they turned into corn meal mush. There was a prodigious amount- the container weighed about five pounds- but a lot of yuck is not a blessing. And somehow, my order came to $15, so it was semi-expensive yuck. Probably this place would be fine if you actually ordered/ate at the restaurant. And had six of their cheap margaritas first.

The food here is just not good. The nachos are soggy, the burritos are a mess, and the enchiladas taste like they were made days before. The only good thing about this place is the giant margarita. I will not be returning to Blockhead's to eat.

Love this place. Great place to eat a fun dinner and enjoy a margarita. The food here was very good. We had the outdoor seating and it was perfect.

So I am from AZ and now live in the city...out in the south west...they know Mexican. I guess the food is good, but the things that are supposed to make it spectacular, ie. guac and salsa are really average, if that. The drinks are cheap...which is ok, and the atmosphere is cute. I think you definitely get the sense that this is somewhat of a chain. If you have a hankering for authenticity then I would not suggest this place, but good for after work drinks with friends.

This place is what you should expect it to be: a good place to eaten decent and unpretentious mexican food and get drunk for cheap. most food items are at $10, and the the $3.50 margaritas and mojitos can't be beat. don't know what the reviewer below me is talking about because i get drunk off these. 3 drinks for $10 and you're in a happy place. can't beat that.

Ok the double wrapped tacos were yummy, but the salsa tastes like its from a jar, our chips were coated in salt there was a pile of white salt in the bottom of our tiny bowl. Sure the drinks are cheap, and i know why....b/c they have little alcohol in them, and my mojito was warm. The guacamole was ok, but pretty bland.
