When Blockhead's came to 91st and Amsterdam, I was thrilled having been a longtime fan of their burritos. Living on W 83 Street I was out of delivery range for their 105 St. location. At last I would have one close enough for delivery! However, my first delivery experience they failed to include the drinks we ordered. When I called and told them, they offered to deliver the drinks. It took over 30 minutes to get the food--I wasn't waiting for that, so canceled the drinks. Management offered a $5 discount off my next order. Another time, delivery took over an hour! That time management sent the order on the house. Very decent of them, to be sure. The last time I called them, they told me they would no longer be able to delivery to 83rd St. "Why not?" I said, "I'm only 8 blocks away." I was informed that their delivery range would end at 86 St from now on. It is beyond me why this location of Blockhead's can't seem to do what every other restaurant and take-out joint on the Upper West Side is able to do: deliver within a 10 block radius in under a half hour.

I love how accommodating this place is with lots of healthy options and substitutions available. They're nice on the phone and have prompt delivery service. Can't rate the inside of this one because I haven't been there. Sometimes the food can be a little bland or boring and to be honest, I am not a fan of the chicken. I've had some subpar pieces. However, once my fiancé and I discovered the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Burrito and substituted the chicken with marinated grilled tofu, it's been a go-to order for us. So delicious, flavorful, and the tofu is perfect. Really glad we found this one because others on the menu did disappoint and we want a good burrito we can rely on when in the mood. Order delivery and get the Jamaican Jerk Tofu Burrito!
