Delicious Mexican
I have ordered out from Blockheads at least 10 times in the last year and thier chicken enchiladas are delish. They could improve on their deserts but overall - very good.

Check your order at the counter
i love blockheads burritos. i am vegan.. i thought that they were even better than burritoville.. ( the only reasonable comparison.. because like blockheads, burritoville also makes brown rice burritos). When i eat at blockheads i usually get the mini no dairy burrito with side salad) their salad always very fresh and their vegan cheese is so good. This is a tip.. dont pay with your card if you are picking up.. for some strange reason they want a tip for doing their job but they don't have a tip cup.. i paid with a card and didnt leave a tip... the worse food i ever got from them. Oh yeah and if you are excited about the salsa don't be.. i would chuck that in the trash and go to grisede's and buy the santa barbara's medium salsa..... your taste buds will thank you. OH and Remember this vegan friends though.. the orange cheese is vegan the white is dairy regular.. they mixed this up.... once..

Be reasonable
California, the only way for you to accurately say that there exists no place that can match up to your anorexia-burritos in L.A would be if you tried every burrito place on the entire East Coast. You haven't done that.

Bogus
I don't know what these other reviewers are talking about. I work at the World Financial Center, at Deloitte, and unfortunately I get stuck ordering something from Blockheads when I'm staying late and need something in a pinch. The burritos are healthy, this is true. I guess the veggies are relatively fresh, but most of the burritos are just packed full of rice!! They are big, but not worth the $12 for one. Also, the meat that goes in them is dry, and they skimp out on it! They also majorly skimp out on the cheese! You don't have to be from the west coast to know what a good burrito should taste like, and that it shouldn't consist mainly of rice. I'd pass on Blockheads.

Why would you even compare with Chipotle
You can't compare huge, healthy burritos from a sit down restaurant to sloppy fast food burritos from Chipotle. I'm from california where any burrito is better than a burrito on this coast, and this restaurant has the best burritos this coast has to offer. So if you think Chipotle has the best burritos in the city, don't come here. But if you want a GOOD burrito with fresh ingredients, it's perfect.

As good as chipotle
These dudes are good. If you're not near a chipotle, or you're just craving some mexican, then this is the place to go. They make a mean, mean burrito.

A bit pricey
Located in the World Financial Center plaza, across from Eckerd, this place offers a wide selection of overpriced burritos, quesadillas, etc. I paid $12 for a "Super Veg" burrito and can of coke - substantially more than one pays at Chipotle and other burrito places. The "Super Veg" was good and very large, but not as tasty as Chipotle. The service was quick and friendly. Blockheads is a takeout or delivery place, but there are tables around the Winter Garden and in summers, outside on the plaza.
