I really gave it my best
I found this restaurant on menupages and thought that it would be a great place to try because I love Mexican food. I was initially impressed with a few things: its outside (courtyard-like) location, the prices and their chips/salsa. How can you go wrong with chips and salsa? Their $3 margaritas were pretty good but have that mixer taste to them that I hate. Why can't restaurants just use real lemon juice and tripple sec? I've been to the restaurant three times and have ordered three different things. I have been thoroughly unimpressed with each dish. The only thing that keeps me going back is the oportunity to sit outside on my lunch break and sip margaritas for $3.

Great -- except for the hostess & wait
Aftter waiting for forty minutes, my girlfriend was told we'd lost our place in line because the hostess had "called" (ie said in a normal tone of voice in a very LOUD area-- she needs a microphone or something) our name. We went home mad, but then again we also we on the July fourth weekend and at night. Stll the margaritas are good (though they're mad with cheap tequila that will hang you over) and the waitresses are cute and very friendly!

Yummy, fast, and inexpensive.
Service was prompt. The food was cheap, fresh, and tasty, served with complimentary chips and spicy salsa. The outdoor eating area was fine for a quick meal. Blockheads is completely worth it, especially if you're anywhere in the neighborhood.

Can't beat it
We went to Blockheads for some nachos and margaritas. the food was great and the drinks were excellent! Many of the margaritas are $3.00! You can't beat that. Would recommend this place. The inside seating area is small - but if you're there in the summer, they have a large, great outdoor seating area.

Can't Beat Blockheads
The food is awesome. The burritos are so simple, yet tasty and hit the spot. And you can't beat the huge outdoor seating area either!

The Best
Blockheads has no peer. The food is excellent as the ingredients are high quality, and the service is extremely quick, both at the restaurant and for delivery. The delivered food often arrives 10 minutes before they say they will! A guy below said it's pricey: that's perhaps the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. In a city where a dinner for two is easily over $75, this place is a Great Oasis of Value. And who doesn't like value? Maybe Alec Baldwin, but I'm pretty sure everyone else loves it. I eat there at least once a week, and will continue to do so.

Best place ever!
My friends and I found this restaurant by chance one day and our lives have never been the same since. Seriously. Where else can you get $3 margaritas in this city when it's not happy hour? And what other restaurant has a sock puppet as it's mascot? Also, whoever handles the music there is a genius. AND Jose is the best waiter in the world.
