Went here on a friends recommendation he raved about the food. First the place itself is beautiful we were there during a thunderstorm and the view was amazing!! And Wednesday they do $15 pitchers of sangria red or white and these were not skimpy pitchers. We had the red it was soooo good 3 of us got 2 full glasses each. My problem was the food. For apps had the tostone nachos which were very good. Then came the short rip arepas. Ehhhh had a sweetness to them which I wasn't crazy about. We barely finished them they were throwing the entrees on the table. Churassco was good def could have used more seasoning, and the lomo saltado was so so, also lacked flavor. Prices were reasonable which was good.Deserts were a different story, the warm chocolate cake and pina coladaa tres leches were amazing!! Heres my problem: waitress barely cleared the dinner plates before hounding us about desert. Considering the speed the apps and food came out we wanted a few minutes to decide. She came back every minute to see what we wanted which was really annoying. Prob wont be back for food maybe for those $15 pitchers but not to be rushed through a dinner I'm paying for

The food was exceptional! However, the waitresses are incompetent and sassy. Ten of my closest friends and I visited this location last night (Monday) to celebrate my sister's birthday and the wait was moderately fair. The hosts were very nice, but once you are inside...ALL HELL breaks loose! I don't ever write reviews, but the service we encountered and disrespect we experienced last night merited a critique. Although, Chef Kelvin did his thing in the Kitchen, the dreadful wait for the food coupled with the rude waitressesfar outweighs the good tasting meal. I felt like Blend on the Water was quite an experience; we struggled and faced numerousss hurdles in order to get to the food. This is definitely NOT the ambiance we look for in restaurants, i.e. beat a person down to then feed them an almost perfect Paella (This is called hazing). My friends and I will not be visiting to locality again.

First time at Blend on the Water on Saturday and let me just tell you their food is incredible! I'm not much of a foodie and a very picky eater but their food is really incredible. A must if you haven't checked it out already! The Arepa's w/short rib on top is to die for and so much more of their goods! Go Go Go :)
