Great Pizza!
Had to write a review to put an end to the rabid joe's pizza fanboys. Sure Joe's is great, but you guys complain about Bleecker St pizza being oily?!? Lol, please.. everytime i walk by joe's i see someone dabbing their slice with a napkin.. so give it a rest guys. Both joe's and bleecker st pizza offer great regular slices. However, IMHO, Bleecker st pizza takes it a step further and adds two very delicious choices.. the Grandma, and the Nonna Maria.. both definitely worth a try.

Pizza-nazi
A few of my friends signed off Joe's Pizza, insisting that Bleecker St. Pizza is better. They are wrong. This pizza has a heavy, ragu style sauce on it. It's oily and folds like cardboard. It's below average. These friends by the way--are from the Midwest.

Grandma knew
This is the best slice in the city. I have had them all and the Nana Maria is perfect. Their other pizza's good but this is the slice, thin and crispy just the right amount of sauce with fresh riccotta and Parmesan Reggiano and subtle herbs. Delicious! You have to try one but ask for the Nana Maria.

Favorite pizza
This is my favorite pizza in the neighborhood. Great calzones and sandwiches, too. The salad I tried was okay.

Great Pizza
I live in the neighborhood and this place took over as my favorite local pizza place as soon as I ate there. I switched from Joe's just down the street. Great crust and great sauce. I've done a few taste comparisons by buying a slice here and Joe's down the street. Bleecker street is superior in every way. It makes Joe's seem ordinary (which it definitely is not).

Decent food - but No Joe's on the slices
Nice little pizzeria, that has one of the best meatball parm hero's in town. Beyond that - not so much. The sicilian slices are their best, but even they tend to get oily. When they first moved in I was psyched because they were so close. The novelty soon wore off, and I find myself hitting up Joe's for the legitimate late night slice. The plain neopolitan slices here really need to step up, oily and not that tasty. The upside is the guys in there are really very nice.

Below avg. italian
I've ordered from here a few times and the food is very hit or miss. The pizza was good not great, but this is the west village, where is it actually bad? I had an eggplant parm sandwich which was ok, but nothing to write home about. Tonight i had the chicken parm. dinner - it was not good. On top of that, they forgot to give me bread, and didn't bring me a menu for the third time.
