Finally got to try Blaue this week and it was great! Decor has not changed from old Le Zinc style but food was very good..Loved the Salzburger (sp?) and the weisswurst with the homemade pretzel.. great winter homey food. Very excited that this is the new spot in my neighborhood.

Was a fan of Le Zinc as a local haunt and that is where this place should pitch. Smoked trout appetiser and strudel dessert were excellent but the entrees we had of goulash and beef shoulder did not match them. Don't get me wrong they werent bad at all just not as ambitious as the appetisers. I think if you go have an a salad/appetiser and one of the sausage dishes and pair it with some of the sommeliers german/austrian recommendations you can have a great home cooked german meal and a small bill.
