    Best Bartenders in Town!

I make it to NYC once per year for the Westminster Dog Show and stay at the Hotel Penn which makes the Blarney quite convenient. This year, I actually made time to hang out at the Blarney and it honestly made my trip. The bartenders were great and I've never had such excellent service! They took the time to learn our names, chat, take pictures, etc. and they made some fantastic drinks on top of it! If nothing else, I'll be heading back again next year for THEM!

    ok food, really slow service

Read the reviews and decided to try this place out for lunch. The food was decent but the service was really slow. It took forever to get a menu even though the place was quiet. It took forever to get the bill also. I was quite disappointed.

Loved it so much we went twice in 3 days

The Blarney Rock may be my favourite part of Manhattan. The atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for, the staff are fantastic, real people and the food is great. Loved this pub so much that we couldn't stay away. I will definitely keep this place at the top of my list of places to visit when in NYC!

    great craic in midtown

I had a ball in this great wee bar across from the garden. Mikey the bartender was spot on and i met a whole load great guys from new jersey who worked in the city and made this their local as it was near Penn station. I was there in June and will be back again for more on St Patricks day all bein well . Fantastic place to be in the big apple. Recommended big time.

    our week in NYC

Most nights we frequented this bar directly across from the Hotel Pit...er...Penn. Tim and Johnny knew us by name and were great barkeeps and fun to talk with. Made our first NYC trip a lasting memory

    An Oldie but Goodie!

The Rock was established in 1969. Why do I know this? I have been going there since the day it opened. Am I old? Not really. The waitresses and bartenders are the best and are really Irsish, willing to leave you smiling out the door. Try it!

Can't say enough great things about ....

What a place to watch sports, any sport! You will find Met and Yankeee fans stopping in for a few drinks and chow before and after home games, even though the stadiums are miles away by subway. A great meeting place! Ranger games??? The place is A RANGER BAR where fans meet befor and after home games. For those who can't get tickets meet and watch the games on thrir 15 tvs. It's almost like being in MSG!! Can't stay away!! The Rock is like a magnet that keeps pulling me back!!
