Blaggard's Pub

The bartenders are friendly and the place is okay. The problem is that the drinks are a bit pricey. $6 for a Bud Light draft on a Monday night is a bit high; I could see that on a Friday or Saturday night, but on a Monday they should have some sort of drink special that goes beyond 7pm. The chicken wings were good.

Being from upstate ny I find that nyc has alot of places with really lousy buffalo wings. Blaggards had delicious wings fried nice and hard instead of the mushy crap I usually find in nyc. They also have good nachos. Their drinks are cheap and they have a good selection. However the waitress was inattentive and had a lot of trouble paying attention to our order.

I ate at Blaggards Pub back in April. The food was mediocre, and the service was slow and clumsy - the waitresses wandered around the back of the pub without looking over for long periods of time. We had to ask for the check twice, and then the waitress took forever to come get my credit card once she'd brought the check. Blaggards will not get my dinner business again.

I find a lot of Irish bars bland but this one had great people and a fun atmosphere! Good selection of beers and great pub style food. Many Liquors to choose from and the bartenders were fun, especially Simon! Who's nick name is Lemons! Funny! Its great after work when I need an environment opposite to my office. And I liked the wings and the Blaggards Burger. Prices were reasonable for a midtown spot. I'd go back.

Like the food, price, atmosphere but its waaayyyy too loud. I quickly left with a sore throat and my ears ringing. I told the waitress to lower the volume but was told, "that's just the way it is". I would've stayed longer and spent more money there if not for the loud music. My friends and I wouldn't go there again. There's just too many other restaurants in the city to go to then to deal with that deaf jam.

Awesome looking place with great food and a large [select]ion of beers, wines and liquors. My favourite spot when I visit the Big Apple. It is friendly. Maybe the best looking spot in the city.

Good simple pub food and a good atmosphere. Can be busy at times especially after work. The staff are great and the bartenders can be a riot. Try it out if you want a simple pub place with good beer!
