Great Place !!!
Was here for St. Patricks day and had a fantastic breakfast. Very cosy and very clean. The staff and service was excellent. I will be back !

Basically Average
Everything was average, which in this city bar wise means it is not bad. I will go back, but definitely not a top pick.

Good place to start!
Per reviews on this site, I'd picked another pub for dinner but wanted to experience many pubs in NYC. The bartender was very nice and there seemed to be a local crowd. One thing I did not like was the loud teen pop music. It did not fit the atmosphere. The pint was fine and I'd go back. (I rated the food because the site made me, but I bet it would be good.)

Good Little Hole-in-the-wall
I found this place on MenuPages and was surprised to find it was more of a bar than a restaurant. Definitely don't go if you are looking for find dining. However, the sit-down area was cozy, the food was delish (I got ravioli in a cream sauce- to die for!), and the waitresses very friendly. I would definitely go back again.

Good food at a great price!
The Black Sheep consistently puts out great food, particularly the chicken fingers and turkey burgers. A much better bet than the neighboring Irish Pubs who seem to specialize in stale chips!

Friendly Irish Place w/ Great Buy Backs
Quick and Friendly Service. Huge Portions - Strong Pours. The staff will know your name in no time and greet you just like Norm gets greeted at Cheers. Lunch Specials include a glass of wine or a beer. 6.95 for a 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger, fries and a beer how can you beat that in Midtown.
