    Great Little Sandwich Shop

Bite is a wonderful sandwich shop. They have really tasty panini, and the bread is a force to be reckoned with, great crispy exterior with nice flavour. Additionally, the employees are all pleasant and personable. The tables are slightly dirty, but for the prices, one cannot argue. My one point of displeasure was with the soup, as I felt that the lentils and other vegetables were slightly undercooked.

    fantastic

This is my favorite place to order from in the Union Square area. Sandwiches and Bruchetta are superb - particularly the genoa salami panini and the middle eastern mushroom sandwich (spicy). Good stuff.

I wish they had one uptown

There's no better place for lunch or dinner! My boyfriend and I get a panini and salad to share and it's the perfect combination in the perfect portion! The staff is really sweet and the wines are great and affordable. I recommend the eggplant panini and goatcheese salad- Enjoy!

    Vegetarian, carnivore, omnivore delight

Bite is a little gem of a sandwich shop, with amazing sandwiches at a great price. When one first comes to the table, whether the Middle Eastern Mushroom, the Exotic Tuna, or anything else... you're impressed. Then you take a bite -- and get that it's the stuff of greatness. Hearty portions, familiar and fresh new tastes, and great quality ingredients (awesome, awesome ciabatta bread). It's not a vegetarian place, but they have great vegetarian sandwiches, too (try the Sabbih, Mushroom, or a Mozarella melt). Sweet-tooth? The $3 gnutella and banana ciabatta makes you wonder why anyone would pay 6 bucks for a puny crepe elsewhere in the area. It's that good. And the little shop's atmosphere just makes for a great casual meal whether solo or with friends.

    Take A Bite

This tiny place has really great food at great prices. I always have the prosciutto and mozzeralla panini which is huge and excellent. also the salad with tuna can't be beat. even though it is tiny its worth the try.

    Mmmmmm

I tried bite as soon as it opened and i've been hooked since. every person who i've told to try bite says, "thank you for introducing me to bite!!" the staff is friendly, the place is cute, and the sandwiches are unbelievable... two words: Balthazar bread.
