I got a great salad here a few months ago. I enjoyed it. I would go back there again.

I placed a delivery order over the phone for two sandwiches and waited 1.5 hours for it to be delivered!! After 1.5 hours of waiting, the delivery guy called to check the address and it turns out that they had the wrong one! And they even had the wrong credit card info down!! By the time I got my food, it was cold!

I hate to rain on the accolades parade here, perhaps it was an off day or I just chose the wrong sandwich, but my experience at bite was disappointing. I came on a weekday around 1:30 the place was pretty empty but it took a while to get my order. I ordered a fresh mozzarella panini. Mozarella not so fresh and I think they used the Costo type sundried tomatoes and it had more of a pre-made basil spread and fresh basil. They also got my drink order wrong. Service was pleasant and friendly enough though. I'm an UWSer and went out of my way to check this place out because of the great reviews here.. there's definitely better places in the city to get inexpensive paninis.

Great cafe to meet a friend in for not only a cheap lunch, but a very good lunch. Sandwiches are fantastic, I would recommend to anyone.

Bite is really fantastic. Their sandwiches are sophisticated and elegant with fresh flavors and creative combinations without the price tag typical to those types of sandwiches ($10-12 a pop). While their service can be a little spotty (or spacey), they're always pleasantly polite. The space is adorable and I love that in the summertime the entire front window opens up and becomes a counter where you can stare out and watch the city go by. Try the middle eastern turkey (so fresh, light, and tasty), the black bean soup (perfectly spiced and so comforting on a cold evening), and the Salami panini (the combination of the roasted pepper tapenade and the tomato basil mayo is out of this world). Only other complaint is that they don't always have the black bean soup for some reason, even though it's insanely good. What gives?

Best chilly delight Mojitos in the city, you’d never know they’re virgin. Small tasty wine selection and the Sangria is scrumptious. Fun music, photos on the wall are icy cool for a hot August day. I’ve now tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all so fresh, good for me and affordable that I keep coming back.

Pretty much everything said so far is right on. Bite is an amazing lunch place. The exotic tuna is phenomenal. Going back tomorrow to try something new.
