Has Really Gone Down Hill
I work around the corner from this place and have been eating lunch there several times a week for two and half years. It used to be really delicious, but recently, the food has been increasingly poor. The guy who used to run it left, and the guy who's running it now is not as competent or friendly. The menu is the same, but they've started cutting corners, giving me a turkey sandwich with two thing slices of turkey and a heap of lettuce or serving a cup of bean soup with almost no beans that's mostly broth. Both of these things have happened to me on more than one occasion, so I'm not going back anymore. If I'm paying 7 bucks for a turkey sandwich, it had better have some turkey in it! The lines were always long because the food was so good and many people were waiting in line. Now, the lines are long because it takes them forever to make your sandwich. Very disappointing.

Long wait and service on the decline
My co-workers and I have been enjoying Bite sandwiches and soups since this little to-go spot opened 2 blocks from us. As noted by other reviewers, the tuna sandwich, soups and paninis are all delicious. So it's just sad to say the service continues to get worse even after the owner recently expanded his menu. The patience required can strain any new yorker. To regularly wait 10-15 minutes simply to place an order even when there is NO line is ridiculous!

Best Tuna Curry Around!
Both locations have the BEST tuna curry (exotic tuna) around...and it comes with amazing white or wheat bread/rolls. The other sandwiches and salads are great too, and although it gets busy they are friendly!

Good Sandwiches; Long Wait
I do like this place, but rarely have the patience for the inevitable long waits. There have been times when I've ordered a tuna sandwich and stood outside waiting for 15 minutes. Better to go during off peak times for lunch.

This is My Ritual
Bite, where have you been all my life? So every other Friday, my ritual is to get a Turkey Pesto Panini, I friggin love it. It tastes great and it gets me full, Bite is about 3 block from my office on Lafayette and everytime I order my fav sandwich I start eating it before I get to my Office lunch room, Its soooo good theres no room for patience. Then every time I have the money I get one of the pastries, they're not that their expensive, they only cost $1.00-$2.00, its just that I A) work in the Music Industry and B) live in New York Expensive City, but the pastries are that good that I budget it in. And the Soup is awesome too definetly. They stuff for Vegetarians and Vegans alike (yes there is a difference) And I think their food is Kosher also but you'll have to ask on that one. Anyhoot check them out whenever you can.

Stop for a bite
Passed this place many times got the middle eastern vegan sandwhich. A nice spot to stop instead of the usual take out-very nice guy works there and good value for the money. I plan to go back!
