    overrated

Great selection of wine. insulting prices. so-so food; limited menu. I think I speak for a lot of my neighbors when i say that i'm dying for some good restaurants in our hood. If this place lowered its prices (considerably) or else elevated the menu/quality - heck, I'd be here all the time. your dishes are ok, but only worth about 1/2 what they're priced at.

Delicious meal in a beautiful setting!!

We had a wonderful dinner at Bistro Ten18 during the holidays. The restaurant looked like a beautiful gem and the food and service were terrific!! We can't wait to go back and try other delicious items from the menu.

    Not recommended

We ate outside and began our evening being harrassed by local panhandlers and trying to hear each other over the traffic of the busy intersection. Definitely eat inside if you must visit this establishment. This food was bland and lacked taste. I've had tastier marinara sauce out of a jar. Out waitress must have been having a bad day because she acted like we weren't doing her any favors. Then came the check and I was surprised at how much my tasteless meal had cost.

    Inconsistent

I find that when I visit when the owners are around, the place is great. When they aren't, it disappoints. Service falls off, and in fact, on my most recent visit I was treated shabbily.

Do NOT go with a large group

I was recently here for Sunday brunch and I have to say that although our waiter was fine and empathetic, we still had a hard time. We were part of a large group and had to wait over an hour for our food. The ONLY advantage to this restaurant is that it's the only interesting place to eat in the neighborhood. Otherwise the atmoshpere and food are very average, as well as the unorginal moniker.

    $13.50 for a vodka martini

And not even a full glass! I am 64. Avid duck eater. Toughest duck i ever had. Don't understand the hoop la of some of the other reviews.

    Attention all tender meat lovers!

My friend and I went to get the sirloin burger and, boy, were we impressed with how tender the meat was. It melted in my mouth! I don't know how they grind it so finely (maybe they use a blender?), but I have never in my 20 years, experienced meat so tender. So, if your palate craves a phenomenal burger with extraordinarily tender and juicy meat, you must try this upper west side treasure!
