Great delivery!
Very impressed with my turkey burger. It arrived and the bun was stacked separately from the burger very thoughtful as I hate it when it gets soggy.. Burger was grreat and not greasy at all. Salad that came with it was good and the side of balsamic dressing, delicious! Am thrilled to have a new delivery place. The man who took my order couldn't have been nicer and sent a 10 percent coupon to use on my next order. Bravo Bistro Nora. I am a picky person and will definitely be ordering from here again.

One and done...
I am always a little hesitant to try places that have a menu that's all over the place - if the restaurant itself is confused about their concept, I can imagine that their food will have similar issues. We were looking for a quick lunch, and were in the mood for steak frites. Bistro Nora popped up (whose name sounds french) and had solid reviews, so we decided to try it. But as I mentioned, the menu should have given it away. From taquitos to salmon, it has quite the mix. We asked how the steak was, and the server said, "no one has ever sent it back" (should have been a warning as well). But we went for it, and paid for our choice. The steak had an aftertaste that I couldn't pinpoint, and appeared to have been previously frozen, which should never happen. The fries were subpar, and we couldn't finish either of them (it's actually the first time I can remember not finishing a steak). My boyfriend thought it tasted like a minute steak. On the plus side, the place was very clean and the servers were nice. Maybe this is a good sandwich place, but all of your menu items should be of the same quality, so if this was any indication, I won't need to try their other items. Unfortunately, we won't be back. bummer, too, bc it's right down the street and we eat out regularly.

Great Brunch Spot
My friend and i have named this our go to brunch spot. Can't beat the two for one $4.95 drink special. I get the smoked salmon Benedict and my friend gets the regular Benedict. We love it. We always share a side of bacon. Great bacon which is a must for us. It's a newer place and definitely has room to grow. Hope other people discover it so it can stick around!

Delivery only so far
Been twice - loved the pulled duck sandwich. Gave 4.5 instead of 5.0 because the sweet potato fries could have tasted a bit less fried and I would love for the cauliflower side to taste more roasted. Hey - we've got a nice new place so I am really not complaining and I certainly will be back

Surprising Menu
My family & I went to Bistro Nora on a cold Sunday & it was already crowded. The vibe was cool with its warm red interior- couples, families with children, groups of grownups just hanging out. There is the weekend brunch menu AND lunch menu as well as kids brunch AND kids regular menu. Coming from a restaurant family, I thought maybe the numerous variety of dishes may lessen the quality but I was extremely & pleasantly surprised. Dishes have a unique spin on flavor with a very subtle Asian flare on a few items. We had fish tacos (perfectly done & tender), sesame chicken bites, pasta, exquisitely done eggs (not soggy nor dry) and fries (really really good coming from an FF addict. Not quite Belgian frite type, not quite typical American type. BN's is crunchy, light, NOT greasy!). I also tried the Duck Fat Potatoes which may sound rich & overwhelming but the unique blend of duck flavor & herbs with just the right crunch & salt were a hit. It was not oily or heavy and I tried it out of curiosity expecting a hit or miss. It was a hit. My children loved the food & fun puzzles that come with both the kids' brunch & regular menu. Even their dishes came with a spin on it like the sesame chicken bites that were enjoyed by adults too. They were not your usual salty & soggy with grease salty chicken nuggets (because kids' menus are usually a side/foot note to please parents at many places we've been). Even the Zack's mac & cheese isn't orange elbows but a few gourmand steps up with a blend of interesting cheeses that adults would enjoy as well as children. I think along the lines of BN's moderate version of Waverly's truffle mac & cheese. Prices are very moderate while quality is high. Service was extremlely attentive & not rushed but warm & welcoming. For brunchers, even the egg dishes are not the usual fare but each have a spin on it as do the pancakes (lemon ricotta not plain batter). For lunch, you won't be disappointed but leave happily satisfied. It's a cool vibe and I'll have to go for an evening out to see what it's like for dinner & I'm looking forward to it!
