Don't know how I never discovered this spot any earlier! Just had dinner the other night and it was fantastic. The salad dressing is out of this world and my steak was not only perfectly cooked (perfect med-rare), their fries and steak sauce was out of this world. My friend had the burger which he said was the juiciest thing he's ever eaten. Was a bit noisy but it was only because of how busy they are. Staff was really friendly and professional, and was always there when needed. Definitely coming back.

There are times it is good and times I scratch my head.. I have orderd the kobe burger many many times and it is HAS BEEN delicious. One time I ordered it and it was clearly different. No where near the same and when I asked they made me feel like I was crazy.. It was just like every other burger they still wanted to charge $20.00??

I picked this restaurant based on the reviews here on menu pages. I was a little surprised at how mediocre the place actually was. The bathrooms and stairway leading downstairs are downright dirty, never a good sign. I ordered a house salad which was my mistake, a plate of romaine lettuce with dressing, period. The filet of sole that I had was pretty good. My friend's swordfish, however had no seasoning at all. For dessert we split the special, peach tart. The waiter stressed it was homemade, my advice, fire your pastry chef. The peaches had absolutely no flavor nor did the rest of the tart. The place was crowded but I don't know why.

Just came back from dinner there. I was craving a burger and didn't know where to find one on the UES... decided to give this place a shot. DELICIOUS!!! My cousin and I both ordered a cheeseburger and a warm spinach dip with tortilla chips to start, and everything was so good. One of the better burgers I've had in a long time. Also the bread they brought us with the butter was good. My friend ordered the french onion soup and the roquefort salad and he said it was really good. The service was quick, friendly and competent. Definitely going back there.

I had the pleasure of having dinner at Bistro Le Steak this Valentine's day and had a fabulous time. It was my first visit and I had no expectations. The meal was great, prices low, and the service was phenomenal! When my date and I went to sit at our table, it was wobbling a bit and our waiter took the time to fix this for us. He as well as the rest of the staff were very attentive to our needs. I look forward to going back!

I live right in the vicinity of this restaurant...upper East Side & pass it frequently. One day four of us had dinner here earlier this year and just returned again last week. Cuisine still excellent. However, we were bothered by the "rushed" service provided as indicated by another customer. Your patrons want to enjoy their dinner. Just improve upon this important requirement and you can't 'miss'.

My wife and I ate here this evening. The food is good and at a reasonable price. Our only objection is the rush job given. We had barely sat down with our menus when we ere asked if we were ready to order. The waitor did not even other to tell us the specials. We tried to enjoy our cocktails but again pushed to order. After ordering our salad came almost immediately. We had just finished out last piece of food on pur plates, when a bus boy immediately showed upo and said "finished" and he grabbed the plates. We were done in less than an hour. As I said the food is good, but not enjoyable as they give no time to enjoy the meal.
