    Unpleasant service

The service we had was terrible. The server was impatient. We had to continuously remind the waiter for things like water, and our sides we ordered. As a server myself, being tempermental to the customer questioning a dish's flavor ruins the restaurants friendly neighborhood repertoire.

    great value

we could not believe the food was so good! It's not cheap, but when you taste the food you'll see that it's a pretty good deal. i've paid much more for worse food. My wife and i had 2 courses each, plus a glass of wine each, plus coffee and dessert for $130 including tip. Everything was fantastic and we'll definitely be back!

    Don't come for Brunch!

The omelets were so small that my friend remarked that we were dining in Munchkin Land. I had a bloody mary which tasted alcohol-free and my friend had an oddly colored, and sour-tasting "mimosa." I would NOT recommend this place for weekend brunch.

    Great Food Great Service

I went to Bistro 61 for the first time with my family last night. The food was great and well portioned, so that one can enjoy an appetizer and an entree without feeling as if they are unable to move. We enjoyed a half bottle of wine, which is always a nice item to see on a menu, a good alternative to a proper bottle if you aren't feeling up to more then a glass and a half. The service was excellent. Our waiter made us feel right at home. He was attentive and polite, despite the crowd, it appeared to be quite a busy night, and he really seemed to know his wine. We will definitely be back!

    Not worth the money

Too expensive for what you get. Good mussels and fries and salads. The meze is too salty and the "free" wine with four appetizers and four mains is undrinkable. When crowded, there is no service!

    bridal shower at bistro 61

i had my bridal shower brunch at bistro 61 and it couldn't have been better. we didn't rent out the entire restaurant but the staff did a fantastic job of rearranging the tables so that it felt as if we were the only ones there. everyone - manager, servers, chef - was so incredibly accommodating and delightful to work with. we had quite an extensive menu of items to choose from - several egg dishes, french toast, pancakes, crepes, desserts - and it was all very reasonably priced. the food came out hot and delicious - a serious feat for a party of 36 people. i used to live a few blocks from bistro 61 and we always had a positive experience there - brunch and dinner - but i was completely blown away by the food and service for the shower. amazing!
