Never again
Arrived @restaurant @6 & had theater @ 8 . Informed waiter of this.had to coax them to give us menus then to take orders. Apparantly only 1 person can take the orders for the whole restaurant. Food arrived @ 7:20. food mediocre Veal piccata bland & veal chop barely cooked, but no time to send it back, even if we could have gotten the waiters attention. not worth the price Definitely would not recommend this restaurant. there's too many better restaurants on this block.

A Huge Disappointment
Our dinner last night was extremely disappointing. We were a large (21) group of pre theatre patrons amd arrived at the restaurant at 5:40, plenty of time to make our 8 pm curtain call. Our group was greeted by a very rude manager, who seemd annoyed with us. Our dinner was delayed (every dish was floating in the same color sauce), and we were never asked for our dessert order. At 7:30 we stopped a waiter (another annoyed employee) and gave him our order, which was not served until7:40....now the rush to the theatre....I would think twice about going to this restaurant.

Ouch!
The good news is that this resturant is equiped to get your dinner to the table and you to the theater on time. The bad news is that for the price you should be getting a whole lot more. The caesar salad was premade and served straight from the frig--too cold to have appropriate taste. The beef is the standard choice cut that is available in every supermarket with a price tag that suggests that it is imported from Italy which is definately not the case. That renders the resturants name a charade. The masquerade doesn't stop there. The side order of mushroms was expensive, minimal and overcooked. The wine list EXPENSIVE. Total check for our twosome was $250 and we then went to the theater hopeing the play would not be as disappointing. I have eaten at a number of pretheater resturants in the area but have never felt so ripped off!

Love this place!
We live in Seattle and no visit to NYC is complete without an amazing dinner at Bistecca Fiorentina! Love the food, although my daughters ate the entire dessert so I didn't get any. It was small and we should have ordered two. Why can't someone in Seattle do the same???

Food good, price better.
My wife and I each had the theatre price-fixed menu. Atmosphere was great, and the service was very polite and ready to help. Appetizer Onion Soup was amazing and I would highly recommend. My wife had the polenta which was delicious as well. Our entrees were so-so, I had chicken and shrimp which wasn't bad but was nothing special...my wife had pasta which she thought was better at our local pizza place. Dessert was great, very generous portions and tasty. Overall, great value and I'm happy we went...next time definitely going to order the namesake!!

Terrific dinner
I thought that the food quality was excellent. We came in after the theatre and were pleasantly surprised by the dinner the four of us had.Their service could be a little more patron friendly but it was unobtrusive and timely.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone viewing this review.
