Bistango is the best italian restaurant I have ever been too. Anthony is always welcoming and makes sure everything is to your liking. They give you complimentary Bruschetta when you sit down. The house Cabernet is the best I've tasted. I recommend Bistango to all my friends, and go there often. One of my friends wanted Minestrone soup...it was not their soup for the day but they made it for him anyway. By the way, the minestrone soup is delicious. No one is ever dissappointed. It is a great place to take ppl bc they are sure to love their food. Nice little bar too. The Black Raspberry ice cream is out of this world. Bistango is my favorite restaurant by far in NYC. Definitely check it out!

I had a fetuccini alfredo w/ chicken delivered to my apt. It took forever and it cost me a total of $20. For 20, I would expect at least a nice big dish w/ plenty of chicken, the result was neither. The alfredo sauce is average.

What a great italian place! I have been a couple of times with my boyfriend, and we always leave happy and full. The food is traditional and delish, and the staff is so sweet! They are always so accommodating with our dietary needs, and it's always a pleasure to eat there. I would recommend it to all my friends!

I tried this place for the first time recently, and am so happy to have found a good, reasonably priced Italian restaurant relatively close to where I live. The service was extremely friendly and the food and atmosphere were great.

I came here last Friday (9/22/06) with a 8 of my girlfriends and all I have to say is, we all had a great time. Bistango was very accomodating with our party of 9 as well as us bringing our own cake. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The appetizers were a good size for sharing and the pasta dishes were yummy. It started to get a bit busier around 8:00pm, but to my surprise, they did not rush us at all. We must've spent a good 3 hours enjoying each others company. Also highly recommended is the black raspberry ice cream, it's out of this world. I read 2-3 not so positive reviews, but I give this place an 11!

This restaurant is excellent, if you like Italian food you definitely need to check this out - especially the tortellini. This is a great place for those with CELIAC DISEASE. They can make almost ANYTHING on their menu, completely gluten free! They have all sorts of gluten free pastas and breads, etc. that you will love. MUST-SEE. The prices are excellent for food this good. Just go there. You'll enjoy it.

I live in Boston and travel to NYC a few tmes a year. Mostly for pleasure. I have friends on Park AV, and they introduced us to Bistango. I always eat there when in the city. The host is great and loves to see us. I cannot say enough about the food and service. The prices are no more expensive and the good place in Boston. When in New York, eat at Bistango.
