This has been one of my favorite Italian restuarants for years. Convenient for any pre-Garden event, the place has -dare I say- gotten better over the years. The appetizers and dinners are not only of the highest quality, but they are ample portions. The service is most friendly without being overbearing and the decor is classy and quiet. I recommend not only for MSG events, but for dates and other occasions.

Definitely would return for a second trip. The home made sausage was delicious as well as the Chef's speciality. I would recommend Malfatti Piemontese.

We got there at 7:30pm on a Friday. The service was poor (they brought some of our starters with the main courses). They brought the bread in very late and the food in general was below average. The tiramisu felt like it was taken out of a freezer.

I tried this restaurant last night and was very impressed. There are so many Italian restaurants in this city that it is difficult to find one that really stands out. My experience here was memorable. In all my years as a crab cake lover, I have never tasted one as delicious as the one served here. The main dishes were terriffic and the dessert divine. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Behind a deli on 29th Street, just east of 8th Avenue we found a reat restaurant for our pre-game dining. It was a small, clean, welcoming establishment. The home-made sausage was recomended to me and I found it to be excellent. Ed had no trouble having his fish specially prepared to suit his allergy to onions. We found the prices to be very reasonable for NYC. Ed will be back with his grandchildren next time. And I'll certainly return.
