Loved it but...
When we first discovered Bin 71 we were over the moon because we fancy ourselves sommeliers and adore anything having to do with the world of wine. If you can find a seat (quite challenging), it is the epitome of romantic with such intimate quarters. The staff is helpful and will allow for small tastes, etc. However, in the last few months, it seems that the prices have increased, the selection has turned south, and the amount of wine they consider a glass is laughable. If I am paying $12 -$14 for a glass of wine, please do not pour me a third of a glass. This was never the case before so we are a bit perplexed. That being said, if $ is no object, then definitely go but be ready to order a second or third glass. I, in no way want to deter patrons, but just give them fair warning. I guess a 'glass' of wine is subjective.

Great UWS wine bar
a very comfortable place to go for lunch - great food, friendly service, diverse wine list for size - comfortable place to sit at the bar , have a glass of wine and read the paper.
