Great
If you want Chinese roast meats, duck, pork, chicken, etc. look no further.

Exactly what this doctor orders
BW is exactly what this doctor orders. If there's a place in NY that serves better wonton soup (supplemented with noodles and succulent roast pork), I haven't been there yet--and I've been at many, many Chinese restaurants. Some people might not like the terse service or plain atmosphere, but I find it exactly appropriate for the restaurant. Anyone who is serious about food must try it.

Mmm Mmm Good
My family and I stumbled upon this restaurant due to a local's recommendation -- THANK YOU whoever you were. Yea, the atmosphere isn't great, but the food was fantastic. We all had soup: egg noodle, shrimp dumpling, and pork or duck... all was excellent. We had a side of vegetables which was very flavorful. We like things spicier, so we ordered a side of hot oil...my dad claimed it to be "not the hottest, but the BEST hot oil he had ever tasted" and I agree. Can't want to get back!

Good and Cheap!
We thought the food was really good. Authentic and fresh ingredients. I don't normally order duck but here it was very tasty. The roast pork over rice was a winner! Great flavor and tender. Definitely no frill, however the food was worth the lack of atmosphere. I would go back.

No Frills - Great Chinese Food
Don't be looking for any tablecloths, fancy dining areas, etc Nope. Just get ready for some terrific Chinese food! Order one of their soups with noodles and meat or a meat over rice dish, if you want to blend in with the natives. Or, don't worry and order anything else you are familiar with. It's all good. Do not miss their BBQ pork!

A great introduction to Chinatown
I used this site to pick this restaurant, going for the combination of low price and high ratings. We weren't disappointed. The fried rice with roast pork was the best fried rice dish I've ever had. The chicken and vegetables over rice was fabulous. The chicken was tender yet flavorful. The vegetables were the stalk of some kind of greens (mustard? collard?). Again, very flavorful. We also had the spare ribs and vegetables dish. This was a little less satisfying, perhaps because the chopped up ribs were a bit hard to eat (peeling the small amount of meat of the cross-sectioned bones. As others have said the value was terrific, the service very friendly. To top it off we went around the corner to Little Italy for a tasty dessert of tiramisu, gelato, and espresso.

A few days ago...
A few days ago I ate at the Big Wing Wong. Pork fried rice, sweet and sour shrimp, duck with noodles, lo mein with ginger and scallion. It was worth TWICE the price I paid. Nice service, very reasonable, good food.
