Big Nick's is the only place to go when you want a great meal for a reasonable price. I highly recommend their milk shakes and chocolate mud cake. The service is very unpredictable, although not bad, in fact the poor service has made me enjoy the experience of going there even more. If Big Nick's ever closed, I'd feel like I lost a family member. I have yet to try the ostrich burger, although I'm sure I'll get to it some time or another.

If you are going to be in the Upper West Side area, you must check out Big Nick's. We stayed at On The Ave hotel across the street from Big Nick's and two nights in a row we got Nick's to go. The first night we got pizza and it was great. They have the BEST thin & crispy crust! The next night was burger time and that also was really nice. I don't eat a lot of beef and I was stunned at the size of the burger. If you like REALLY BIG (and delicious) burgers, then Nick's is the place for you. They are really fast and friendly. You just can't go wrong. Great pickles, too. This is making me hungry......

Big Nicks is a life saver for those who like to eat out on a buget. Although the decor in the resturant leaves much to be disired, the food and the prices can't be beat. I recommend the Gyro Platter - a heap of great food for under 8 dollars. I love this place.....and you should too. Oh, and did I mention they deliver pizza until 5 o'clock in the morning!

Big Nick's is certainly a convenience to have in the neighborhood. They are open virtually 24/7 and the service and delivery is lightening quick. That being said the hamburgers are not really special and the pizza is inconsistent, but only slightly above average at best.

I went to Big Nick's again! This time I took my mom. Again... the food was excellent... the service was excellent... I love this place. We were out for the day. We went for lunch, then we went to the American Museum of Natural History. I had been telling my mom about Nick's so we went there for dinner. My mom is very critical. All she could criticize about Big Nick's is it is too small, but she LOVED the food.

This place is a dump, but well worth the torture to have the best burger of my life. The bun was perfeclty soft, a bit hollowed out so that there wasn't too much bread and the burger was a hardy size with an amazing flavor. I's a must try!

After getting to NY on a late flight, I got a burger delivered to my hotel at 1am! And a few nights later I ordered from Big Nick's again! The guy on the phone can barely speak english, but the delivery is pretty fast, the burgers are great, and extremely filling, and its cheap! I love the food!
