For food that is OK at best at trumped up prices, you'd think they'd work with requests, even if you have to pay a little extra. Manager refused to prepare chicken fingers like wings - it's really that big of a deal to toss them in a bowl? Made me pay for an entire meal I didn't want and wouldn't accommodate at all.

Big Nick's -compare 70th vs Bdwy locations
As a 24 year patron of Nick's on 70th, I made the mistake of assuming the 2 restaurants were related (they are not - different management and food quality) and chose to eat at the Broadway location this Friday. The Greek salad at 70th is loaded with feta cheese not so at Bdway, The dressing is much tastier at 70th. Although both locations offer hamburgers cooked to order (WD, Med, MedRare, etc) I found that 2 or 3 burgers in our party of 6 were cooked correctly at bdway,...70th st location always hits the mark. Finally, the wait at Bdwy and the trickling AC was NOT what you want when out for dinner. Again, although smaller in size, the atmosphere and quick delivery of orders makes BIG NICK's on 70th the GO TO restaurant for my family and all of my wife's family as well.

Very cramped, but totally worth it.
Best burgers on the UWS. Really cramped, delicious chili cheeseburger.

good bacon cheeseburger
I would stay away from adding guac to your burger, but the bacon cheddar burger, medium, was really good even for delivery

Unless you're dying for food and it's really late
I have lived down the street for 10 years. The burgers and fries have always been and are still quite good and reliable. The pizza has gone from average to edible over time though, unless it's late and you're drunk in which case it's the best pizza ever. If you have another option, try it.

Never Again
This was my first and last time I ordered from Big Nick's. I wanted a burger and was tired of Jackson Hole so I decided to give them a try. My food arrived 1 hour later cold and soggy. The bread on my burger was so soggy I couldn't it pick up without it falling to pieces. The onion rings were no better then supper market frozen rings you would through into the oven. The whole experience was so unappetizing I tossed my order in the trash .
