The food is ok, but over priced even for NYC standards. $13 for a cheese burger and tots is not worth it.

I ate here last night (after reading all these reviews!) because my mom wanted to go. I was pleasantly surprised - maybe they're trying extra hard to step up their game, but at any rate it's working. The service was great and the food was very good. Everything was hot and came out quickly, my burger was cooked perfectly, the bun was nice and soft, and the tater tots were nice and crispy. The only flaw was a family with a child who kept shrieking at the top of his lungs - but that wasn't the restaurant's fault, and the staff apologized to us and tried nicely to get the parents to take the kid outside. All in all, it was a nice experience, not too expensive, and the food was good.

This is such a *happy* cute place with friendly service and yummy comfort food. I am used to paying city prices but, this place is a bit out there. I rec'd the Mac & Cheese, Banana Sugar Pancakes, & The Cookie Monster Oreo Shake with Vodka is absolutely delicious!!!

1 word, yes. After 40 minutes of waiting for our order, we decided to ask. We recv'd our pigs in a blanket app 10 mins later, yet it wasn't cooked even half way. another 25 mins and we got our order. From the look and taste of our burgers and chicken sandwich it seemed as if they had been left on the grill for the entire 55min wait. Our Medium hamburgers were hockey pucks etc. It was so bad, my son who was starving couldn't choke down half a jr burger. This is the 3rd time in a row with bad food (previous 2 were delivery) so I would say 3 strikes and you're out.

Ate at Big Daddy's months back, and, despite the outrageous prices, we loved our meal because the food and service were both great. However, we placed an order by phone tonight and the food was cold upon arrival. My wife and I stood in the kitchen next to the oven heating up the two sandwiches that, along with our two drinks, cost us $40. Despite the cost and the cold, this experience may have been forgotten again, but it really came down to the woman on the phone. A note to her and to people like her: if you don't like people, don't work in the service industry.

We go here from time to time when in the mood for something quick and easy. Food is pretty good and the wait staff is great.

Went with my 2 yo daughter during the week - lots of other kids & nickelodeon on TV helped. Food is on pricier side - but came out pretty quickly. Thought pancakes were good and service was good and accommodating to child's needs.
